Fieldrunners, a tower defense game, was among the first Minis to be released. Now the sequel is coming to the Vita.
No word when, exactly, but it’s in the final stages of development, so probably sometime this summer.

Apocalypse Defense came out a few weeks ago on PS Mobile, and just last week (sorry, a bit late), the developer uploaded a fairly long gameplay video. As you can see, it’s a tower defense game with doodle graphics.

Defenders of the Mystic Garden, a fantasy-themed tower defense game, is the second Mini from Twisted Dragon Media, makers of M.O.Z.O.X. Space Salvager. Or I should really say maker, since it’s essentially a one-person operation. Although I found M.O.Z.O.X. to be a fun space shooter, it was somewhat on the simple side, especially in comparison [...]

Although the title artwork really reminds me of Gauntlet (except in this case, I think the Elf has more than enough food), apparently it’s a tower defense-style game. We had a lot of those early in the life of the Minis program, but there haven’t been any recently that I can recall.

The first entry to the Minis program from RingZero Game Studio, a Thailand-based game developer, is a simple-looking tower defense (TD) game: Core Blaster. This Mini employs “futuristic cyberspace” graphics, with all the requisite sparkling balls and neon-lit circuit veins.
This game is not just a TD game but also a puzzler. It does not [...]
