Normally, we don’t review full PSN titles. But we are gladly making an exception for titles that are sequels to or full blown remakes of our beloved Minis. One of the most recognizable and enjoyable Minis was a little gem called Zombie Tycoon. Developed by Canadian developer Frima Studio and released October 29, 2009, Zombie [...]

Not a surprise, but well deserved (though I would have picked BreakQuest: Extra Evolution). Velocity will go on sale for $3.49 instead of its usual $4.99, and only $2.44 if you have PS+.

We had a Player’s Choice awards a little while ago, and now Sony is following our lead. The difference is that in their case, the winner of each category goes on sale. And okay, we did steal the idea from them.
No category for PlayStation Mobile titles, but they do have one for Minis. The candidates [...]

Blast Off (Halfbrick Studios)
Dynogems (StormBasic)
Echoes (Halfbrick [...]

While forum member Ofaliss organized one here, it looks like Sony has a Player’s Choice Awards in the works as well, not just for Minis, but for PSN as a whole, at least in North America. Winners go on discount. And which three Minis have they nominated to be the best of 2011?

The successor to the PSP is about to launch in a week or so, and while Sony hasn’t seen fit to advertise it yet, they have at least posted a list of PSP games that will work on it.
The compatibility is not as high as I had hoped. There are 114 Minis listed as compatible [...]
