Back in mid-July, the PlayStation Mobile Store closed its doors; the windows were boarded up; the cows came home. No more opportunity to buy PSM games . . . or so we thought at first. As we discovered in our forum, while the PSM Store’s front doors have closed, the Store itself is [...]

Chaos Rings did indeed come out today, for $7.99 ($1 less than they originally said), in the US Store at least. They don’t seem to have released a trailer specifically for it, but this is the Android trailer and should look similar. Only this should be playable with buttons on the Vita.
Wonderful, glorious buttons. I’ve [...]

I love old arcade shooters, having grown up in the heyday of the arcades. I don’t really like modern shooters, or shmups, as they are called. So whenever a new shooter comes out that is retro themed, I am interested, but somewhat skeptical. It’s very hard to mix new and old well. MegaBlast from Super [...]

Beyond the Horizon is our weekly look at games coming out sometime in the future. Perhaps this week? Perhaps next month? We don’t really know when they are due out (in many cases, neither does the developer), but we do know they are in the works.

This weekend (right now, I guess), Sony is holding a PS Mobile Game Jam, a competition where people must make a new game in a limited amount of time, in Japan.
They held a series of them in the West, culminating in games likes Hermit Crab in Space, Crumble, and Crystallon. Who knows what will [...]

There’s a thin line between genius and insanity, but VitaBounce! proves that the gap is actually wider than it is believed. VitaBounce! would have been a hit if it had been released on Newgrounds back in 2000 when the trend was Flash games made to weird out players. I prayed that this game was just [...]
