When Idiot Squad was announced, I was more than a bit apprehensive. It starred sheep and was from Hydravision, whose previous Minis were uninspired clones of old classic video games, simply frill-free ports from the DS. But mostly it was the sheep, which permeate every aspect of the game.

Hydravision is releasing a new Mini this coming March 27 in North America and March 28 in Europe. The game is Idiot Squad and looks like a puzzler where you direct units using arrow items. Usual screenshots after the break:

When you’re down dwelling on the bottom already, you have no other place to go but climb up. Right? Apparently, no. Big Ben Interactive and Hydravision just dug deeper down the hole with their fourth classic arcade title– Solitaire. I can’t understand the “efforts” of Big Ben Interactive and Hydravision in reviving classic arcade games. Sure, there are a lot of players who want to replay these classics but even so these games must be “updates” rather than straight-up clones. Or if they choose to be loyal  with their adaptation they can do so [...]
