Thanks to the thread pspgamer01 started, I'm now curious. What are some of you guys most hated films?
At the moment all I can remember are...
The Spirit
Basic Instinct 2
Dragonball
Twilight
Batman And Robin... bat nipples anyone!!!
Titanic - I live in the city of Belfast, where it was built.
;)
haha, I like bad, cheesy movies, so I don't have any!
Batman and Robin was a blast! Loved poison ivy!
Also, it's important for men to protect their nipples in battle, so the nipple armor was there for added protection only... :D
the wedding planner
avp-r
starship troopers 3
braveheart
m:i-2
ghost rider
harry potter and the deathly hallows part 1
a nightmare on elm street (2010)
x-men the last stand
seed of chucky
*makes fart sound* /K
Daredevil :(
Lord of the Rings - I watched them, I bought them, I watched them again. So yeah, I tried to like them. I don't hate them I just find them boring and uneventful. It's mostly alot of scenery of hills and stuff and Sam Cries whining about how much he loves Mr. Frodo. yawn. That and I'm really not into D&D. :)
Harry Potter - Haven't seen any of them and I don't feel any urge to do so. Ever.
Batman and Robin - I love the super hero genre, but this one was so hard to watch. Both times I tried to watch it I had to fight to keep awake. I had more fun buying the movie than I did watching it.
Twilight - Same reason as Harry Potter
Elektra - I can't remember why this was bad, I just know that I had a brain aneurysm while watching it which didn't kill me, but wiped out my memory of the movie completly. I guess it was like a self defense mechanism. The only memory I had before my event was being at the store paying for the movie and thinking "How bad could it be?".
DOA, didn't see the whole thing but still *shudders*, oh and Street fighter movie.
I saw DOA, it was pretty bad but not the worst I've seen. Street Fighter, I took one look at the trailer and said hell no! If I can find a copy of Tekken at Walmart that doesn't look abused, I'll let you guys know how terrible it is, or good, I can't judge what I haven't seen.
This is going to sound pretty sadistic, but I only want to see the last Harry Potter film to see him kick the bucket. I never did like him or his wizard adventures.
Oh I almost forgot, the live action version of Blood The Last Vampire is pretty bad too.
I've seen DOA, The Legend of Chun-Li, Blood's live-action version, and Dragonball Evolution. Chun-Li was quite a lot worse than the others, I thought. At least with DOA and Dragonball, there was a "we know we're being silly" feel to the films, but Chun-Li played things straight and bad. The live-action Blood: The Last Vampire is nothing to write home about, but aside from being a bizarre adaptation of the anime, along with a nonsensical ending, I didn't think it approached the level of stomach turning as Chun-Li. The same sentence goes for Dragonball as well, come to think of it.
@Ofaliss
for HP you might be disappointed if want to see him kick the bucket, just letting you know so you won't be upset about it later.
The Reader
The Hours
Black Swan
Before Sunset / Before Sunrise
These kinds of movies induce coma.
Sanctum - boring... Zzzz
Shutter Island - two hours of my life I'll never get back
The Beach... and prity much anything with Leonardo De'crap'rio in it (except Inception... that was actually a good film).
Get Him To The Greek - I don't like Russel Brand.
The Beach...
The book is damn good, a lot of shout-outs to video games and pop culture. The movie is disgusting.
Shutter Island was okay and Get Him To The Greek was simply amazing :D
Godzilla's Revenge
American Pie by far
plus all sequels and anything else in that "genre"
and don't diss on that streetfighter movie, it may be bad for streetfighter fans but the sheer level of sillyness makes it awesome
Zangief yelling 'quick change the channel!!!' while watching a bombtruck coming straight at them through a security camera makes the whole thing worth every penny and every second of your life
I'm gonna watch it right now
I didn't like 'Black death' at all.. While our Dutch proud 'Carice van Houten' is acting it.. You should check 'Minoes' out (Dutch movie, starring van Houten.. try find some english subtitles, it's a very nice movie!).
And even though I have never seen it: 'Avatar the Last Airbender'. The animated series were just so cool, but I think they have totally blew it with the movie.. That's also why I'm not going to watch it. :)
I think most of the movies based on the animated series are just bad.
Sniper, dont be so discrete. The movies been out long enough. SPOILER just in case. Harry lives happily ever after with Ron's sister.
I just watched Skyline and it blows.
I know that, it's just Ofaliss has his hatred for HP. I like HP series
Lol, he probably just says that. I bet he has the whole set with action figures. And I bet he knows all the spells by heart.
I shouldnt talk though cause I love HP. Lol
I LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE! :D
But man does it suck ass that Harry does too. :(
I'm glad I'm not the only person who dislikes that Leo guy TB. I almost cried when I heard he was attached to the potential Akira live action film.
Hey bro, I was scared someone would find you laying in front of your TV with poop in your pants. Nice to have ya back.
It would have been for a worthy cause!
I forgot they had made a live action film for King of Fighters. The people on Amazon seem to think it sucks hot a**. I haven't actually read any of their reviews though, people tend to b*tch too much on Amazon.
Since fighting games have horrible stories anyway, wouldn't a horrible movie mean it was a good adaptation!? o_O Very few people buy fighters for the story, they buy it for the fighting. So, if the movie has good fight scenes, that would mean it was a perfect adaptation, correct!? Maybe that's why I tend to not hate fighter adaptations.
I just remember another travesty of a movie that I've seen. Aeon Flux. That movie is just awful. It's a shame really because I love the animated series. Have the collection on DVD and UMD. Hell, it's 1 of only 3 UMD Movies I have. The others being Advent Children, and Ghost in the Shell.
Ironically enough, I actually like Ultraviolet alright. They are essentially the same thing, but at least UV has some cool fight scenes to make up for an otherwise crappy movie.
want to contribute but out of bad movies to add, i guess Hop wasn't what i expected so it gets honorable mention on this list.
I thought Ultraviolet had an awful, awful ending. ###SPOILER### "Fight in the dark with flaming swords" sounds good on paper, but in actual execution, you couldn't see a damned thing. A terrible climax to a forgettable film. I really expected much better from the director of Equilibrium.
I would say "The Phantom Menace" but I'm too much of a die-hard Star Wars fan for that. Even if Lucas really messed up most of the movie. ; )
You listen to most die hard fans, Lucas messed up the Saga!
I thought The Phantom Menace was pretty good. It was the first Star Wars film I watched, and it got me interested in all of the others.
Star Wars movies from best to worst...
