Any word on how that patch is coming along. I found some reviews for it online, and it sounds pretty fun, but my anticipation for it has started to dwindle. Just a tiny status update would be nice.

It was announced by the developers that the game was coming out on November 16 2010, bearing a worldwide release. The game is coming out in 12 days. Finally.

The Canadian and the American ones are the same* maybe the Mexican one is too.
*I am almost certainPosted 2 years ago # -
I agree with you Balrog.

The Canadian and the American ones are the same
Yep, they pretty much have all the same stuff.
Well, aside from us not having the comic store yet (c'mon sony, my inner nerd is yearning for virtual comic books!)....Posted 2 years ago # -
@Carson
Lol. I don't like the comics that much, because they take up my memory card space, and I can't figure out how to delete them. Can anyone tell me how to?

I do like the comic books - the reader is well designed and there is fantastic new content each week (on the UK PSN). There is some quite graphic horror stuff (18+) as well! :-)
I've never deleted anything though I'm afraid so I'm not sure how you would do it.
Posted 2 years ago # -
Dang it. Someone please help me figure out how to delete them.

On my UK account I got a few comics and don't know how to delete those either :( I really don't know why we can't get comics on the Canadian store tho :(

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! This pisses me off!!! (not mad at any of you guys.) The freakin' comics won't go away even if I delete the comic reader. This is impossible!!!
Posted 2 years ago # -
At least you can use them. The comics reader isn't available for a Japanese PSP-1000 with a UK account :(

Thank you SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!
WHOOP DE DOO!!!!!Posted 2 years ago # -
Geez, if I'd seen this earlier, I could have helped you easily. I've known how to delete comics through the reader application for months.
Alternatively, you can mount the Memory Stick on a PC and delete the file directly (which was what you had to do before the comic reader supported deletion by itself).
As for why Canada doesn't have the comics store yet, I think it's some legal barrier. Probably along the same lines as why the video store took so long to reach Canada.

I think putting the memory stick on a computer sounds complicated.

I think putting the memory stick on a computer sounds complicated.
Not at all. Just connect your PSP (powered on and with the Memory Stick in it) to your PC via a USB cable. Assuming you didn't set up your PSP not to automatically go into USB mode when you connect it to a PC, it should do that right away. Then, all you need to do is open the "My Computer" icon on the PC's desktop (I'm assuming you're using Windows), and the Memory Stick will be mounted as a Removable Disk. Open that, and you'll be browsing the Memory Stick's directory structure. As I recall, the directory with the comic book files in it is "BOOK," at the Memory Stick's root level. The quandary at this point will be that the files under BOOK are named cryptically, and you'll just have to figure out which file is which book on your own (perhaps looking at the file sizes and dates to help you). Might be safer to simply move the files into a directory on the PC rather than outright deleting, so that you can put them back if it turns out you moved a comic book you didn't mean to move.

i dont know why marvel comics are more expensive tho;Posted 2 years ago # -
We are getting off topic. Sorry I started this whole delete comic thing.

And the train of thought rolls on...

Too bad they didn't throw in a couple of new levels, or lowered the price of the game. Oh well, nonstop week of Black Ops and then a little WTF?!.
For those who like links to confirm dates, here's the link to Mediatonic's blog confirming the release date.

Definitely looking forward to WTF!
And to delete comics, you need to update the Comics reader. In the latest version you can press "square" to delete them.
