Car Jack Streets let me down. The 'real time' is not in North America. I make $100,000 every time I shut down. And most missions are about the same. Am I the only one?
Worst PSP Minis and why.

Hi KingFriday, it's almost like you read my mind, I was just about to start a thread called "Your Worst 3 Minis".
Well my worst mini would have to be Alien Havok (I think that's how you spell it) for numerous reasons
1. you have to start the game all over each time you play.
2. the level wrap, so you are always confused as to where to go.
3. the graphics are ok, that is until you move the character, then your eyes start to bleed. ;)Posted 2 years ago # -
you mean the minis that I own? Hmmm... I think The Terminator or heracles chariot racing.

thE BEST THREE ARE
1.age of zombies
2.coconut dodge
3.monsters (probably) stole my prinsessTHE THREE WORST ONES ARE
1.buble trouble
2.spot the difference
3.heracles chariot racing(I OWN ALL THESE AND A LOT MORE)

I'm a bit surprised that none of the first ones mentioned here have been Sony's. The Whack-a-Mole clone, for example. Also, that Robin Hood light gun game came to mind personally when I saw this topic. However, I won't actually nominate any games for this, as I still only own 4 Minis, of which I quite like 2; the other 2 are fairly okay.
Speaking of really bad PSP games, did anyone here play the Promethus [sic] demo that was put on the PS Store late last year? I honestly don't know why anyone would put up a demo in that state; it was buggy, broken, and did nothing to interest people in the full version of the game. I'd never even heard of the title when that demo came out, and I've heard nothing about it since then, either.
P.S. ian1537, there's no need to yell. . . .

The worst iv'e played is Breakquest. It's not that bad but the controls aren't smooth enough and I have liked all of the minis I have bought so far.

I really like Breakquest, 100 levels on 3 difficulties make it a really long game and I think its well executed, could be better but still very enjoyable.
I was thinking of buying the chariot racing but as two people have put it in the worst list, im now thinking twice! Whats wrong with it?

Brainpipe's controls ruined it for me..

The Heracles game was actually a regular (albeit budget) PS2 title ($20). That said, I didn't like the controls. But I don't like most controls in kart games. But the game itself was pretty impressive.
Anyway, having played pretty much all of them, I would say, that the worst is from Sony.
Pile Up Bakery is hands down the worse. You just stack stuff on top of each other. That's it. Press a button from a moving dropping thing and boom, it falls down and makes a pile.
It's like a flash game programming tutorial or something. A bad one.
The Whack-A-Mole Ninja (also from Sony) one would be next.

There is almost no need to keep on playing it because once u buy the game everyting is unlocked for u so no need to keep on playing. and also it says it has 10 courses but what they did is keep the whole map the same but just add on one little thing at the end like in one case a brige!

I take it none of you have played Ice Road Truckers then? I really should have known better, but I was in the middle of a massive TV session of IRT at the time.
It actually annoyed me so much I wrote a review of the damn thing!
2nd would have to be Championship Manager; I actually managed to get a refund on that. Easily the most buggy game I've bought digitally ever.

How did you get a refund? I didn't think you could get a refund on download games.

it's a choice between sneezies and monsters probably stole my princess.
not to say they're "bad" games, but Minis im not happy with.i keep reading that monsters are really good. but i just got bored trying at the 2nd level. just didnt feel fun playing it.
tried couple of times to get back into it but ...as for sneezies, it was good for couple of hours (i was on a plane and got nothing else to do).

I actually really enjoyed Heracles Chariot Racing!

Volcane you said it didn't feel like mario kart. Is that a good thing then? anyways for me it was a "must play out and never play again game".

I sent an email to the only PSN support address I could find detailing every single game destroying bug I'd found when playing it, and included stuff like transaction number, hardware model and software version, etc.
The game was essentially unplayable for me considering the bugs encountered within the in-game sim engine. I loosely waved the flag of consumer rights in the inital call back, but they seemed more than happy to refund the purchase amount to my PSN wallet from fairly early on.
The whole digital distribution thing raises a lot of questions (the main one outside of handhelds would be resale rights I guess) but regardless of the pithy statements they use, they simply cannot sell non-functioning software and not offer some form of return service.
Anyway, another mini springs to mind - Breakquest. Couple of reasons:
1) Total lack of QA. It's the only reason I can come up with to explain the whole Pause/Quit functionality of the start button. It's not difficult - the SAME button you pause the game with should UNPAUSE it, not take you back to the menu.
2) Stick bug. When the PSP hold button is engaged, the stick still works, which means you can unpause the game and play it when the whole machine is meant to be in hold mode. Sloppy work again.
3) Stick vs Dpad. I don't know if this is intentional or not, but the paddle speed differs hugely between the stick and the pad. It's not needed, and removes from me my favoured way to play 2d games (the dpad moves the paddle far too slowly)

Did they ever fix the $100,000 bug in "Car Jack Streets" as KingFriday mentioned? I'm thinking of buying that game.

Bought Car Jack Streets and the $100,000 bug is fixed. I haven't had any other issues with the game either.
