This is going to offend some people, so I apologize now to any and all I offend.
Eveyday I come to this site to see what minis are being talked about. The minis we can't wait to get our hands on, and the minis we can't stop talking about. I've discovered it's the very things that we do talk about, and look forward to that make gamers not take minis seriously.
When the most talked about games are a shooter that no one but the developers can beat, or a RPG that has MAJOR lag issues (I'm guilty of that one), how can newcomers take them seriously? But that's not our fault.
I'll give Mediatonic credit, Who's That Flying, is a highly anticipated ORIGINAL mini, but most times we talk about games we can't wait to release on the minis roster, they're games that can be found ANYWHERE else, for CHEAPER.
When you look at the forums and you see that Vibes is the highest rated mini (the discussion is here folks, look for it), can you blame alot of gamers from thinking, "I'm staying away from those minis!". I'm not saying Vibes is a bad game, but it's not something you want as your poster child either.
What do you guys think?
Again, I'm sorry if I offended anyone.
Edit- I just saw the post on the Fighting Fantasy thing, So I may end up eating most of what I said! :D
