Was at a mates the other day who has PS+ and it seemed alright. I wouldn\'t pay full price for it personally though.

I\'ve finished this now. I\'d say it took approximately 4 hours which felt a little bit short but I was satisfied since the gameplay had kept me hooked and fully entertained throughout. There were 26 levels in total and the last few were fiendishly difficult to figure out, but in a good way.
The game gives you an overall score for your performance throughout. My final score left plenty of room for improvement although I\'m not exactly sure what\'s required of me to increase my score. Presumably you need to collect all the hearts in each level and I would also guess that your score is reduced everytime you die. Not dying at all on some of the later stages could be quite a challenge I expect.
Overall, I\'m really pleased with the game and I\'ve already started playing through again for a better score.
I\'m happy to have paid the high price for it if that\'s what it takes to support this kind of originality and invention in games these days. The way I see it, a game that is genuinely doing something different is worth my time and money.Posted 6 months ago # -
4 hours isnt bad for a mini.

Quite true, chapnis. Perhaps it only felt short to me because I was enjoying it so much. I honestly didn\'t want it to end.

Does a level select option (or anything else) open up upon beating the game?
It looks like some spammer put tags on this topic.

@onmode-ky. Sadly no. There doesn\'t seem to be a level select option of any kind, even after beating the game.
Thankfully, it\'s enjoyable enough to warrant repeat playthroughs for a better final score.

character sprites reminds me of meatboy, which i wonder why is not on PSN for PSP??? good to know its such original game, too bad no level selects though, maybe in sequel or something.

Super Meat Boy, due to contractual obligations in its XBLA publishing agreement, is not allowed to be released on the PlayStation platform.
I haven\'t played Where Is My Heart? yet, but I get the feeling it\'s the kind of game for which there would be no sequel. Like how you should never expect thatgamecompany to make a Flower 2.

who knows??? Limbo was XBLA first, anything can happen, maybe not right away but they sure can, eventually. always good to dream, makes life more fulfilling.

Here\'s a direct quote from the developers\' own blog:
We Cant EVER do a ps3 version of super meat boy because when we were going into negotiations with publishers Sony was the only one who didn\'t express much interest in the game. We assumed this ment that they didn\'t want the game and decided to sign with Nintendo and Microsoft. Our contracts excluded any release on Ps3.
We would have loved to do a ps3 version, but its not at all possible what so ever now. so please stop asking about it.
Games like Limbo and Castle Crashers obviously were not published with the same clause in their XBLA agreement.
However, I note that he only mentions PS3 as being forever off-limits. I don\'t know whether this was because the restriction clause specifically said \"PlayStation 3\" rather than \"Sony systems\" or because the questions from fans were all specifying PS3, so maybe the game could come to a PlayStation system that isn\'t the PS3.
Anyway, at least Where Is My Heart? had no problem coming to the PlayStation family.

Just downloaded and played a few levels. The game has ALOT of charm. If I had to compare it to something, I would compare it to Mighty Flip Champs!, without having to save those annoying little animal friends.

Briefly going back to the Super Meat Boy thing, I found some exchanges on Team Meat\'s Twitter account that solidly point to a \"no\" for portable Sony systems:
(Some guy) how awesome would it be to have super meat boy on the go? Like on a psp, or phone, etc? :D
(Team Meat) not cool enough to actually do it
(Some guy) why not? :(
(Team Meat) Too many reasons to count
(Some guy) wow really? There\'s not even a small chance it could?
(Team Meat) There is 0% chance.
(Some guy) could you give me 1 reason why? I\'m really curious :P
(Team Meat) Dont want to work on the game anymore. I wasn\'t even supposed to do the Mac we hired a guy but it fell through last minute
This one is more directly on the Sony thing:
(Some other guy) Have you guys ever asked Microsoft if sony portables are ok to give Super Meat Boy the port treatment?
(Team Meat) Even if we could, we wouldn\'t

lame, worse that meatboy can be played on Kongregate and such... maybe one of those days (probably).
