I was reading the review to Mecho Wars and I clicked the linked of Oyaji Games website and it looks like the domain is for sale. Is Oyaji leaving the gaming business?

Hehe! Before I clicked the link I thought, "Damn. I know my grammar can suck all kinds of a** sometimes, but that's not even close to how you spell Olympic!"!
I hope they aren't. We are losing to many developers as it is.

Ha ha! But the mistake you thought of was a spelling mistake, not grammer.

Now you see why I thought you had the tarded!

Hmmm, he had a post on twitter on May 22nd, about his new game, a sequel to Mecho Wars

Ha! I thought Oyaji was the name of the place.

Looks like it's sort of back.

All it says is Oyaji Games and Support. When you click support, it shows the e-mail address.

Maybe I should have mentioned this earlier, but "oyaji" is Japanese for "old man," more like "old dude." Technically, it means one's father, but colloquial usage seems to apply it more generally. So, if you thought the company name was weird before, now it's really weird to you. Well, maybe not if you're an oyaji.

Ah, I thought it was just ijayo spelled backwards.
(Apparently Japanese is just Swahili written backwards. Who knew?)

You know Swahili? Or just "ijayo"? I don't know any Swahili words. . . .

I think these are images to Mecho Tales (or some kind of game that is supposed to be a sequel to Mecho Wars). The images won't work on my Laptop, 3DS, and PSP, but I found this. Can you guys tell me if the images will show up on your computer. Post them here if they do please.Posted 10 months ago # -
The images don't appear for me, either.

I think they got a little confused. Mecho Wars does have a sequel (Desert Crusade or something like that), but I think it's only for iOS.

That article is from early 2010, so the sequel may have been planned for Minis at the time. One of the many vaporware Minis.

I think they got confused. Kotaku is the new IGN.

If you hover your mouse cursor over the "PSP" tag above the article, other tags show up, including "Mecho Tales" and "PSP Minis." So it was talking about a Minis version of Mecho Tales.

Is Oyaji games a company from Japan? Now that I think about it they could be. Oyaji is Japanese, and JeremyR's review of Mecho Wars at first said he could not exit out because the X and the O buttons were mixes, which is often on Japanese tittles. I don't know if they are or not.Posted 10 months ago # -
I think they're French. The guy behind it is named Luc Bernard, which is about as French sounding as names get. I guess he's a Japanophile.
It's weird about the X and O thing because I believe the game was converted to PSP by Creat Studios, which is a Russian company with offices in Massachusetts.
Come to think of it, that's probably something I should have tried to do more - get interviews with developers and what not, and explain things like that. I'm certainly nosy enough, I just don't like bothering people.

Not to mention, I would have no idea what I'm doing. The only sort of interview training I ever had (asking questions) was about UFOs (it used to be a hobby of mine), and then I had a pre-written set of questions to ask.
