I wish Frima hadn't given up on minis. A Space Shooter for 2 Bucks, Young Thor and Zombie Tycoon were all awesome fun. I found Widget's Odyssey 1/2 a bit meh in my opinion but still better than some of the minis I have.
Please come back Frima, we all miss you. :'(

Unfortunately we are not working on any Mini title right now. Pretty much the whole team is on a PS3 Game called Lights, Camera, Party!

Handheld's have been my main source of gaming since I got a Game Boy so many years ago. It will stay that way as long as a there is a handheld's handheld available. If only gimmicks remain, I'll just keep playing what I do have.
I really do miss the Game Boy days. You couldn't question what it's motives where. It was a gaming machine, nothing more, nothing less. No gimmicks, just buttons, a screen, and games.
But back on topic, can't wait to play 1000 Tiny Claws tomorrow.

Also since I didn't mention it in my previous post, I am eagerly waiting for:
- Orbit (can't wait for more information, screenshot's, etc. on this).
- I Kill Zombies
- Icon Games Racing Game (I think I read about it in someone else's post but I can't seem to find it).
- FuturLab's Space Shooter

From a quick Google search of that name I found that it is a sequel to their Stunt Cars game on WiiWare.
Though that news was from March 2010, I wonder what has caused the huge delay...

I'm tempted to try and find a cheap ipod touch just to get to play more Zenonia... I have to assume that they didn't turn much of a profit at their price point though. Did they not notice that the minis program is built for cheap bite sized games? More importantly did they not think we would discover that people are paying only a buck or two for the same game as an iapp?
I think it had more to do with the lag issues when it released.
It's a real shame that they didn't take the time to note on the review that it had been patched. But whatever. I sent Gamevil a link to the thread I started to try and get the game rereviewed, to let them know that people were fighting for it and had interest in the series being apart of the minis program, but they never replied.
I may just suck it up and play them on my phone, but since my phones screen is pretty small, it's going to be a pain. But I'm going to keep hope alive that they release the remaining 2 on PlayStation Suite.

Yes there is. Sony imposes restriction on what we can do on the PSP system with Minis.
Like : 100MB size max, no multiplayer, downscale the PSP processing power too
When you play the game on PS3, you are actually running a PSP emulator, especially made to run Mini games. Since there is no way to do local multiplayer on PSP (all network feature cannot be used), the same applies for the PS3 version.
While it removes the possibility of adding multiplayer to Mini games, it lightens the submission process and thus make it possible to develop faster and at a lesser cost.
And believe me when I say the submission process is kinda a pain ;)
