Started playing GT Pro Series for the Wii.
Everyone hated this, but I rather like it. Seems like a 3D conversion of GT Advance and GT Advance 3 for the Game Boy Advance from over a decade ago, games that were well received back then. For fans of that popular series (GT Advance 2 was a rally racer that was significantly different), this isn't a bad buy for what it goes for these days.
The graphics have a certain cell shaded charm to them, the physics are pleasant enough, and even the motion steering works well. I'd of felt cheated at $50 back when the Wii launched, but for less than half of what a Virtual Console NES download goes for, I'd say I'm very pleased.
About all I'd criticize it for is no option to steer with an analog stick (Despite being a port of a Japanese only GameCube title). And it does fake widescreen only, enabled in the game settings, that must be zoomed via tv settings to be full-screen (Like Resident Evil 4 did on the GameCube).
