   All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

   * Dead Nation
   * inFAMOUS
   * LittleBigPlanet
   * Super Stardust HD
   * Wipeout HD + Fury

   For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

   * ModNation Racers
   * Pursuit Force

   Freaking sweet. I wonder if we get 2 from each? InFamous and LittleBigPlanet are both sweet (own them) but would love to get Dead Nation. Have wanted Modnation for psp for a while, and would like LBP if I can. Killzone is a lot of fun fyi, but check out some reviews first, it is very different than any of the console versions.

   There's a bunch of other perks too, movie rentals and the long rumored Playstation Plus subscription amongst others. (Does anyone use Home? there's a ton of items for it too)

   I'll be getting ModNation and Killzone for the PSP, seeing as I have the others. I guess that makes my decision easier :P Now its just a question of if they'll fit on my MS or if I'll need to buy a new one.

   Killzone is sweet SifJar, but a different take on shooters, kinda arcade meets RTS... I had a lot of fun with it. Oh, you're deff gonna wanna take the VERY lengthy process of manually installing the extra campaign. It's no longer hosted on the official site though, you'll have to dl from a fileshare server.

   I wonder if we are allowed two from each category, or just two total. We'll have to try and set up a Modnation Online party after this goes live.

   Oh, for all non-GO players - Pursuit Force seems to get good reviews everywhere, and can be found in bargain bins for $5-$10. Killzone is $15-20ish. Modnation is still fairly current and I think LBP held it's value.

   Naw. I already have LittleBigPlanet (Digital and UMD), ModNation Racers (UMD) and Pursuit Force (UMD) for PSP. Guess I will probably be getting Killzone Liberation and ModNation Racers.

   My PS3 is still in its box under my bed with no games. I wonder if my monthly internet quota will even be large enough to download a PS3 game if I decide to update it. :P

   30 days of free PS Plus sounds good to get some cheap minis and other stuff though. :D

   EDIT: If you read the EU blog comments @ http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2011/05/16/details-of-the-welcome-back-programme-for-scee-users-2/#comments a Sony employee replied the following in response to someone asking about those who have both a PSP and a PS3:

   "In that case you wil be able to get two games for each platform"

   I am befuddled that there are people out there (I read this at the AtariAge forum) so paranoid as to be suspicious that "can be kept forever" may really mean "can be kept forever but can only be played forever if you enroll in PS+ and maintain your subscription indefinitely." That is some level of paranoia.

   Anyway, I'm abysmal at racing games, and the demo for Super Stardust HD didn't grab me when I tried it. Dead Nation, Pursuit Force, and Liberation are not my kind of shooting game. I guess I'll be going for inFamous and the two LittleBigPlanets. Not that I would have time to play any of them. . . . You know, I was rather expecting some Minis to be in this program. This is much more "full game" than I foresaw.

   I used Home until my first PS3 lost the ability to log into PSN, and I thought it was pretty entertaining, in its own way. I'll likely install it on the newer PS3 and get some of those incoming items.

   i play around in home occassionally, but with no headset i never stay interested for long. have you tried liberation? it's a letdown as a killzone title, but a really interesting handheld shooter nonetheless.

   rain, how is modnation? and can you dl and save ugc for MNR & LBP?

    Probably the only one I won't get is MNR, can't decide between the other 2. How big are they because I'm lowish on space on my MS.

    I dont know what happened in my psn account but i cant seem to log in. So i decided to sign up but it always says that "A connection error occured (20000006). Can anyone help me. :D Tnx

    Creating a new account won't let you get the free stuff, you need to have had the account on 20th April to be eligible.

    EDIT: Also, Pursuit Force is awesome if anyone isn't sure which PSP games to get. Although as said earlier, you can probably find it cheap these days. In fact I believe it is about £8 or so on PSN. The other games may be more expensive, so better value to get for free =P

    The store isn't up yet so you can't redeem for the free crap right now. I have both a PS3 and a PSP so I assume that means I will get 4 free games. Too bad most of the games listed doesn't interest me and I would've gotten Wipeout if I hadn't already gotten it on disc.

    I was thinking of getting Dead Nation (buying it) at one point so I'll get that and probably Super Stardust. As for PSP I'll get Pursuit Force despite never having heard of that game but it's vehicular combat so that sounds cool. Already have Modnation Racers and the other two I don't care about so I haven't decided yet.

    I assume you're asking me, since it looks like you were responding to my Home comment. No, I have not tried Liberation; I just watched some footage of it on YouTube. What I meant by "not my kind of shooting game" was, um, that it's not a 2D scrolling shooter. :)

    The most interesting thing for me in Home was meeting people from around the world and practicing my foreign language skills on them. That and Xi, which was very cool.

    Anyone know somewhere I could find the filesize of each of the available games? Googling just brings up a bunch of piracy links, each with different file sizes (presumably the game compressed etc. to different degrees), but I can't find the file size for downloading off PSN. Seems like something that could be useful...

    That sounds a little dodgy...are you sure that's legal? I know its not hosted officially anymore but still...btw, anyone know WHY it isn't officially hosted anymore? I am assuming that this is why Sony are saying it doesn't have online multiplayer, as it seems that was added in the same update as "Chapter 5" (the extra campaign)

    I understand I need a PSN account from before all this happened (which I do), but if I didn't have a PS3 before all this, can I still get one and get the free games? I have no plans to get one at the moment, I'm just thinking out loud.

    Only real trouble I'm having now is deciding between Killzone and Pursuit Force.

    You should be able to get free games nexus. The account is what unlocks the program, not the system.

    Are the four games all SONY owned? As LBP and Modnation are associated with Sony I wondered if the other two were.

    Nexus: AFAIK, the games will be available for 30 days after they first become available, so you'll have to hurry with that PS3 if you really want them (but don't rush into buying a PS3, it's a big purchase IMO)

    Never messed with PS Plus, but I have a question. Will the games, Minis or PS1 titles, that we download for free from our 30 days of Plus still be playable after the 30 free days? I dont plan on keeping PS Plus. So will these games become unplayable?

    If you bought the games, you can still play them if you don't subscribe. If they were free though, nope, you'd have to continue subscribing to play them.

    I'm guessing games bought at a discount through PS+ are kept and games that were totally free are only linked through the PS+ ongoing membership.

    Did you receive the email with the link to change your password? You must complete that step first and then log in. Message says it can take 24 hours to receive the email. Still no store yet though. Hope that helps.

    Identity25, yes, all of the games involved in this program are Sony-published titles. It would be very unlikely for any other publisher to get involved, since that would mean them losing even more money, on top of money already being lost by the PS Store being down for so long, for Sony's network problem.

    There's a pretty good chance that all of the video content in the program will also be Sony movies/TV.

    @confuletlyf: I found ModNation Racers quite fun to play, it is like a clone of Mario Kart... not the bad kind of clone though. :P

    No user generated content for me though... I don't have a router and I haven't been able to turn my Wifi Card into SoftAP mode for about a year now (except if using Connectify which only works with WPA2). Damn Sony for not keeping up with wireless encryption protocols, really should have been added in the PSPgo if it was a hardware limitation.

    A house near the bus stop has an unprotected access spot so I might see if I can connect to that tomorrow morning with my PSP. >:D
