   Sony released the Japanese prices

   Memory card 4GB ¥2,200
   Memory card 8GB ¥3,200
   Memory card 16GB ¥5,500
   Memory card 32GB ¥9,500

   I'm hoping that would be $20,$35, $50, and $100 respectively, a literal translation would be a lot more, since the dollar is really weak.

   But with the somewhat high prices, do you think that might hurt sales of downloadable games? Hopefully someone will come out with an adapter, but probably not at launch...

   The 4GB card will be enough for me.

   My only concern is buying an external hard drive. I already have to keep my music on a flash drive, so I can have room on my laptop for my PSP games.

   How big is your internal hard drive. 1TB+ seems to be the norm nowadays which should be enough.

   I'm not sure, I'm at work and my laptop is at home so I can't check. But I know it's not much.

   1TB is probably overkill, but I can get one for fairly cheap, so it's no big deal really.

   since the dollar is really weak.

   Especially my dollar!

   Nope. There will still be games you can buy, buy I think the media for them will be more DS like than PSP like.

    I hate you sniper... I did not want to know this.

    The base model will be packaged with a 4gb card though, will it not? That\'s all the space I have on my psp right now and haven\'t had too many complaints. Mind you I always have a UMD in as well...

    I\'m drawing a blank, do we know if the vita has internal memory as well? I also thought somethign was posted about two memory card slots...

    FFS. I have 16gb on my PSP at the moment and will want to get all that stuff onto my Vita and more. I\\\'m not gonna buy it until at least a year after launch.

    The regular Vita package only comes with the Vita (and I\'m assuming a charger) for $250 for the Wi-Fi version. Meanwhile the First Edition Bundle (or whatever its called) comes with Little Deviants, 4gb memory card, a case and the Wi-Fi Vita for $300. $25O for the Vita + $30 for memory card = Little Deviants & the case for $20 plus you get it a week early. So if your going to get the Vita somewhere near release and are mildly intrested in getting Little Deviants I\'d suggest that bundle.

    Of course you\'d have to be Canadian (or import it?) because America gets the same deal but only with the 3G Vita for $350 (I could be wrong). I\'m probably going to pre-order the Canadian bundle sometime in January.

    8GB Card: $29.99
    16GB Card: $59.99
    32GB Card: $99.99
