On a side note so not to start a new threa I realised I 've been posting here for 2 years (maybe 2 and a half)! Any other old heads still about?

I've been a member since April 7, 2010 (just over 2 years), I must have signed up just a bit before you onmode... and I'm definitely an old head. ;)

MemberTouche onmode, touche. I think the difference with this site is that I dont think we have any pedophiles here. At least I hope not. Facebook is filled with em. I dont like my kid having a Facebook, so me and Carrie have to keep tabs on it. My wifes not against it like me though. Maybe by the time the little homies get big enough to browse the web, Facebook will be long gone.......wishful thinking huh?

It's actually pretty likely that it will. Sh*t like Facebook and Twitter come and go. They come out of nowhere and the people flock to it like sheep, and then the next big thing comes around. Remember when MySpace was the sh*t, me neither, but it was.
Facebook and such have a few more problems other than pedos, though, for a parent it doesn't really get much worse. They're often a breeding ground for ignorance. I'm all for having a good time, but posted pictures of yourself passed out from drunkenness should not be meet with as many virtual high fives as they are now.
There are some good uses for them, but for me they just don't out weight the cons.
