PSP Minis

   The latest episode of PlayStation Pulse gives us a run down of the Top 10 selling PlayStation Minis of 2010, thus far:

   1. Tetris
   2. Zombie Tycoon
   3. Hero of Sparta
   4. Fieldrunners
   5. Monopoly
   6. Bloons
   7. Age of Zombies
   8. Let's Golf
   9. Sudoku
   10. Dracula - Undead Awakening

   No surprise at who's #1. I'm a tad surprised with the performance of Gameloft's stuff, and the lack of quality titles like Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess, Freekscape: Escape From Hell, and Rocket Racing. I'm also surprised at the performance of Monopoly, only been released for a few weeks, and it has cracked #5.

   I believe this may only be North American numbers.

   I guess that Monoply is one of the world's best known and popular games which means that casual gamers will be drawn to the familar title, as opposed to something a little more esoteric such as Freekscape or Hysteria Project (both of which I preferred to Monopoly).

   I can see why Monopoly shot up so high in such a short period of time. This week's PSP Top 10 paid downloads on the North American store has Monopoly at #1. Gameloft's former Minis title, but now full on PSN-only PSP title, Uno cracks the top 10 at #4. Hysteria Project lands at #7. With Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess, and Charge! Tank Squad! taking the #9 and #10 positions.
