I'm about 2 seasons late, but who here watches this aFREAKINGmazing show!? It's one of the few shows that isn't animated that I watch. Season 2 wraps up next week, and I can't wait.

I REALLY want to bust into deep details about my feelings on the show and it's characters, but I don't how much spoilage that would produce, so I'll hold off on that for a little while.

Oh, No. No I have not read the comic. I didn't even know it existed until the show premiered. I don't want to read them now, not until the show ends for good. I know the show and the comics don't match up for the most part, but I still would rather not know who dies.

Plus, I don't want to risk turning into one of those annoying a** people who complain about the fact the show isn't exactly like the comics.

Love this show. I kinda feel that this show is veering towards Big Brother: Zombie Edition in Season 2, glad they picked up the pace in the second half. There's nothing wrong with the storytelling, it's just the glacial pace, damn it.

You know, I keep hearing about this and I'm like "yea another zombie flick". But I love zombie flicks. Is this one really that good? I never watch AMC anyway.

Yes, Random. The show is THAT good. I'm not a AMC watcher either, I do want to sit down and watch Breaking Bad though. I got REALLY lucky and passed by the channel the minute The Walking Dead was about to have its series premiere. I like zombie stuff and figured why not. Nothing else was on.

Best random moment of luck I've ever had (as far as TV goes). I don't even watch hour long show. Last time I kept up with one was when House first started. I stopped after 13 and Foreman started to annoy the crap out of me.

But yeah, Jasper, Season 2's first half was lackluster as far as action goes. The story was still engaging, it just left you thinking, "I sure do wish a zombie would bite the sh*t out of somebody right now.". But it picked after the barn incident. Which wasn't emotional. we all knew how it was going to happen with that character.

I did tear up 2 weeks ago when one of the important characters died. That was some powerful TV right there.

Now there is this HUGE question that needs to be answered. This maybe a little bit of a spoiler if you watch the episodes on a delay. *SPOILER* What's causing people without bite marks to turn into Walkers? *SPOILER*

I seriously doubt it'll get answered in Season 2's finally, but maybe the topic will come up towards the end of the episode.

I'm looking forward to new characters that will join the group. I have no one to root for except Daryl. Carol's character is exhausted, we couldn't mourn for her any longer, I'll bet she'll die in the finale. Rick is starting to get interesting, but still, I'm on Shane's side, which is a shame. MWAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Daryl is my favorite of the group. They never did find out what happened to his brother, Merle. Based on Randall's description of the group he was with, they seem like the type of people he would be real comfortable with.

*SPOILERS*

I hate to say it, but Carol is useless. Has been since before Sophia went missing. Her dying won't leave much of an impact on the rest of the group, but may have a negative effect on Daryl. He could turn weird and start collecting Walker feet or something!

The group will miss Shane ALOT next episode, but the guy was bat sh*t crazy. What his fascination was with Lori is beyond me. She's annoying as hell, and about as useless as Carol.

*SPOILERS*

Previews made it seem like Carol gets a chunk bitten out of her, and with her being pretty much useless, I can see the producers giving us a freebie and telling us outright she dies. But who else? I'm think 2,3, maybe even 4 people could die in the finale. Hershel and his family are the likeliest to see some heavy losses.

The one thing I want to see before the show see it's final episode, is someone being bitten on the leg, and Daryl comes and machete's the sh*t out of it. Right at the knee! Hell, maybe even machete his on leg, goes Ahab on those bastards!

Carol needs to go and that suicidal Hershel girl and that one guy, I don't even know his name. I'd love to see Merle back so that writers could write more about T-Dog. I just can't accept Andrea is still living and Amy died in Season 1. Until now, there's no real eye candy in the group. Maggie is not my type. And Lori can go back to Prison Break.

Ok guys, I can't read any of this thread because of the giant spoiler alerts. Lol. I need to get it on this show. Bob and the Showgram spoke very highly of it recently. I wish I had it on DVD to catch up.

High quality entertainment, broham! You should be able to get Season 1 at a pretty good price online. I got it the Season 1 Special Edition for 19 bucks on eBay a few months back.

Maggie is a fine piece of southern hospitality! she has got that take control type attitude, and that can come in real handy in certain situations! *nudge*nudge*wink*wink*

*SPOILERS*

But yeah, T-Dog has faded into the background after the incident on the highway. Andrea had annoyed me to no end up until she shot Daryl. Then she more or less faded like T-Dog, she got on my good side again when she agreed with Dale to spare Randall. I thought it was a stupid idea keeping Randall alive, but it was good gesture on her part.

Speaking of Dale, man did I tear up when he got attacked by that Walker. My girlfriend was next to me so I had to hold it in real OG style, but that was some damn good television!

The whole Hershel crew, with the exception of Maggie and Hershel, seems likely to die in the finale. Having Hershel in the group fills the Dale void, and Maggie, well, Maggie is eye candy. Never a bad thing to have that.

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Lori and Carl at least get clawed at for a little while. They both annoy me greatly.

I kinda hated the first half of this season (aside from the school episode) but its been incredible since it returned.

I feel bad for shane, it seems like he had finally accepted his position until stupid Lori gave him hope. I had Shanes death spoiled because people are stupid online but it didn't make it any less shocking. Be careful though guys as there are tons of spoilers everywhere. There is a picture of several people walking down a highway at daytime (presumably they survive the attack), a full plot synopsis of the next episode and several pieces of casting news for next season. Just thought I'd warn you guys, thankfully I haven't spoiled anything for the next episode.

@milo128, yes I love Shane, he is right on almost all accounts. Andrea was right when she said to Shane he got the right calls, it's just the matter of presentation.

Yeah, people find Maggie attractive. I do too initially, maybe because there are no other attractive women from the original Atlanta group except for Amy. And then I got bored of her.
Am I the only one who thinks there should be more children in the group? I mean after the Hispanic family left the group, there are no children! Sophia's dead and Carl is Carl. Having children in the group makes the group vulnerable MEANING more thrills and chills.

That's what annoys me so much about Lori, she manipulated both Rick and Shane to make it seem as though she is this vulnerable woman who is always forced to make a bad decision. I still think the Rick and Shane situation was inevitable, but Shane could have fallen in line for another season if it wasn't for the BS Lori spewed out at the windmill.

And yes, the group needs more children. With Carl suddenly becoming this annoying kid always looking for trouble, he needs a counter to that. A kid around his age that can be his voice of reason. I personally think it was his fault Dale died. Based on a few interviews I've read, he's only going to get worse.

Shane's death was spoiled pretty early into season 2. The annoying a** comic fans were going on about how bad the show was because it didn't follow the comics. Everytime someone mentioned that Shane was getting out of line, they always responded with, "Oh he dies in the comic, so he'll probably be killed off soon.". Thanks douchebags.

I always hate people when they complain about the source (novel / short story / epic / comic book) not being the same as the movie or TV show. It's an entirely different medium people! That's an elitist way of thinking.

Man, the second she pushed Rick's hand away the rage filled me and I shouted, "SHOOT THAT B*@CH IN THE FACE!"!

*SPOILERS*
Then when they all, except Daryl, started talking like Rick was the bad guy, I almost rage quit the show. Everything he's done for them, and they treat him like they should have treated Shane.

Glenn gets a girl, and now all of a sudden he's mister talk back. Carol hasn't done a single useful thing yet jumps on Rick for not telling them something he heard from a suicidal nut job, who had intended to kill them all. When will someone finally tell her, "Last time I checked Rick has an annoying a** son and maybe a bastard child. Not a daughter. So how was Sophia his responsibility?" T-Dog finally had his moment to shine by kicking Lori square in her a** and out of the truck, but he turned around. I was very disappointed in him.

At least Hershel was pretty bada** that episode! Andrea too. I didn't expect to feel bad that she got left behind, but surprisingly I did. But man was it awesome when Michonne saved her!

Like I said, I was pissed by the end of it all, but still really excited for Season 3. Fall can't get here quick enough!

NOW I'm interested in a The Walking Dead game! FPS style baby! Blah, blah, generic shooter, running around, yadda. I don't care about that stale crap.

I don't want to play an episodic quick-time bonanza, I want to play as Dale and survive. If I'm in trouble I want to be able to decide myself the funnest most sadistic way to f up a zombie. I want to (hopefully) play some co-op with a buddy and we just live it up with the good times.

This is some of the best gaming related news I've heard in a while. I pray that it all doesn't go wrong, but you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be there day one to personally find out.

Man! I just got done watching last weeks episode, I damn near cried. That was some powerful TV. It felt like a season finale. I can't wait to see the aftermath this Sunday.

I can't stand zombies. Not George Romero zombies at least. Real zombies, from voodoo are interesting and far more creepy, because they are real. Sorta. .

The Serpent and the Rainbow is about the only movie about real zombies
