Just noticed some videos on Youtube of The Flying Hamster. They're pretty much weapons tutorials that also show some of the gameplay. I just thought I'd share these videos with the PSP Minis community.
Definitely some nice old school action there!!!

Yeah, they actually just opened the website for it

(Was going to make a story about it, but it may or may not be a mini, so I dunno if it's relevant)
It looks hilarious, but it wouldn't do well at retail. Surprised that the developer hasn't clarified if it's a Minis title or not. Oh well.
It has been confirmed as a Minis title.
As Takao said, it has now been confirmed as a mini:

The Flying Hamster now has an ESRB rating (E10+). Interestingly, it is rated for "Macintosh, Mobile Phone, Windows PC, PlayStation 3, PSP, Xbox 360." Anyone know if this means all these separate builds of the game have actually been made (and shown to the ESRB)? Or can you get a rating for X platform without actually having ported your game to that platform yet? I'm mostly wondering if the reason the game still hasn't come out might be that they've been busy making these ports, intending on a simultaneous release.
The developer's Facebook page mentioned plans to port the game to other platforms.
Yes, but I was specifically posing the question of whether they were intending to complete the Minis version, then create all the other platforms' ports before releasing the Minis version, and then release them all together (i.e., Minis release delayed for all the porting to other platforms). My suggestion was that that might be the reason the game is still not out. Previously, I had just assumed they would port after releasing the Minis version, but the ESRB rating's target platform data confused me.
Anyway, richicon answered my question in a comment under http://www.pspminis.com/3683/family-games-pen-paper-edition-soon/:
Actually costs-wise there are no differences in ESRB charges with rating all together, or adding additional platforms later. The ESRB is cool in that regard – you just have to fill out an additional platform form – unlike PEGI which charge per platform.
I guess Game Atelier were just getting the paperwork out of the way in advance of actual porting efforts.
