PSP Minis

   I just dusted off my copy of Tekken Dark Resurrection and popped it into my PSP, and it reminded me of something that pissed me off the first time it happened. If it's not the PSP the save data was created on, it won't load your save and you have to create a new one. It sucks because I had Jin's beastly Ghost Data saved on that file. I'm guessing that's why the game hasn't shown up on PSN.

   Is there any other games that you guys know of like that?

   Apparently Gran Tourismo is like that as well, although I have never encountered it myself.

   I will no doubt be stung by this when I get the PS Vita

   I've come across this moving from my 1000 to my 3000, not sure which game though. Flippin annoying.

   I've never heard of that before o.0. Only ever had my 3000 (assassins creed white ^.^)
   Any of my friends that have gotten new systems don't hold onto old games either. Have you tried googling it?

   I believe this has been employed on a number of recent games in an attempt to prevent game save exploits by the homebrew community (if you can't load a save from another PSP, you can't load an exploited save), but then homebrew signing came along and made it pointless again :/

   Didn't realise remember it existed on older games like Tekken though. Actually, now I think of it, I remember a friend telling me a save he downloaded for it didn't work because of that.

   confuletlyf: I didn't. It's not too big of a deal, I was just curious if anyone here had games like that.

   I may google it now though. I didn't know that it had been deployed recently to stop exploits.
