PSP Minis

   I got the game lastnight, but haven't played this version of it yet... I was just curious what other people thought of this or other versions of it. I own a version on PS1 and love the game, even though it didn't get good reviews.

   I thought it sounded cool, but that price scared me off. Only Zenonia was worthy of a price like that and I still didn't like paying it.

   Now that i've played it for some time, the game was definitly worth the high price. It's a high quality game, and even though it can be played in short bursts, it doesn't feel like a mini. It feels more like a brand new full priced game, with a retro flavour to it.

   The only problem I have with this version is that you can't tackle/attack when in possession of the ball.

   its the amiga/atari st port with a load of new teams and competitions. Well worth a purchase. The only gripe is the afore mentioned tacking with the ball. (makes it impossible to use the old, straight down the middle technique lol).

   A lot of fun. :)

   I found a trick to score a goal every time... go to the 'Shockball' nearest to the top on the right hand side, then throw the ball at it straight on with mid to high force, after about half a second push down on the D-pad, making the ball curve straight into the goal... and because the ball has an energy charge, it'll floor anyone in its path. ;)

   P.S. It's funny, but when I played the PS1 version I'd always rename my team 'Reapers' because 'Death Reapers' wouldn't fit.
