   Normal Tanks

   I don't think I should have bought this game since I'm quite happy with the PSX classic Future Cop: LAPD for my PSP to begin with. Normal Tanks, well, I can see it has gotten a favourable review, but honestly I don't personally like this game. The tanks that are shooting at you will magically disappear whenever you try to hunt them down. The graphics look quite bland although that usually don't scare me since gameplay is the most important thing. Just too bad that the gameplay in Normal Tanks is frustrating and irritating as hell. Or maybe I need to practice some more?

   yeah I bought let's golf to for that price but than in cents (119 cents). I probably will play like once a month because it's pretty boring. I got a lot of games for psp.

   My only qualm about this game is in the title. When I purchased Alien Zombie Death, I expected zombies. Zombie was only thrown into the title to help sale the game, which worked on me.

   I will add, however, I'm glad I picked this mini up. It is simple to play and has limited replayability. You get medals for achieving certain feats on each level and I have spent countless hours trying to perfect each level.
   It is simple enough for new gamers or casual gamers but poses challenges to even the most experienced. Especially with some of the later levels.

   The gameplay took 11.4 seconds to get used to. You can use the D pad or analog stick to jump up, down and move side to side. While the square and circle allow you to shoot from left to right.

   The game features a variety of aliens (not zombies nor aliens turned zombie) and several powerups to increase your odds when being overwhelmed.

   Overall, this is a great little game and worth picking up.

    This was the last Mini that I played and I reviewed it in another thread (link posted below to prevent a double post):

    In summary, this is what I said:

    Graphics = Georgous. Bright, cheerful & wonderful to look at.
    Sound = In-keeping with the game.
    Controls = Perfect.
    Length = Normal mode (about 1 hr, including the learning curve). Hard mode (looooong!).
    Value for money = Definitely.
    Fun? = Oh yes! ;-)

    This game is a 9/10 for me, without question! :-)

    They are aliens turned zombies... just not human zombies, alien zombies. :)
    hence the evilness, and mindlessly trying to kill you!

    Sorry to go off topic... but has anyone else noticed a glitch in Alien Zombie Death, where the character will randomly jump up or drop down a platform for no reason, often resulting in a cheap death. ;)

    @thumbbandit - I haven't had that happen but I have had the game freeze and randomly shut off. This only happens when I try to go back to the main screen.

    @Slimwiggins- Yes I had the shutting off too! Thought it may have been a problem with my PSP, but if you had it too I'll put it down to being the game having a glitch in the software?

    @Volcane- think that may have happened to me before too, although I mentioned before that I would go to press a button to fire, it would fire, then stop. I did think this was an issue with the game or my buttons may have cracked rubber pads. I had an issue with my drive locking up so I got my PSP3000 exchanged as it was in the warranty. Now a month later, I'm noticing the games where I have to press and hold a button down- like Alien Zombie Death/Ridge Racer, I cannot get the autofire or accelerate to stay on.... But guess what- its my thumb?! As weird as it seems, if I use my finger on these buttons it fine! Think I may have to get a replacement thumb!?

    How strange! Perhaps it has something to do with the direction the inbound digit (finger or thumb) is coming from (assuming that your finger and thumb are pointing towards the PSP from different directions when you press the button)?

    Its very weird Volcane. I press the buttons as any "normal" person would. i.e. I press my thumb down so that the button is nearly flat (but not with the tip). But for some unknown reason my thumb is absorbing the button thus the button seems to turn back off. Maybe i could make a fortune out of the fact that I have some sort of freakish thumb?! Its frustrating as I now can't play games that require the square,triangle, x and o buttons to be held down!

    Argh! lol.
