   @Balrog, I live in New Zealand where Patapon 2 has ALWAYS been available on UMD. I have Patapon 1 and 2 on UMD but the third game didn't get a UMD release here which is why I bought that one from the PS Store.

   Was there an instruction booklet in it? or just a piece of card with the code on?
   If it was just the later, then at least you got a spare UMD case. ;)

   P.S. A few months ago Sony changed the voucher system (in the UK, that is), it now goes up in £5 incriments... a much better system, plus they got rid of the unneeded PS3 game cases the old ones came in. :D
