Until I bought my PSPgo I was completely against spending money on digital content but I think I am slowly warming to the idea of it now, I think I am addicted to scrolling up and down my list of minis in the XMB.

Altogether I am nearing $4,000 AUD that I have spent on my PSP/PS3 (once I buy my PS3). It makes me a bit sad when I see how much I have wasted so often I cheer myself up by spending some more. Soon I will be adding another ~20 minis to my list. D:

So... can anyone beat my list? What games/consoles does everyone have?

you're not wasting your money ... you're spending it in a more meaningfull way then doping it up in the alley behind central station

just saying

I'd add my collection but I honestly don't know, it's all digital except jeanne d'arc and one other game from Atlas, don't remember what it was right now

and a PS3 with KZ2 and 3 but I'm more a mobile gamer so NGP = pure win for me

either way I would add the collection but I've been late at work every day this week and I want to end it on a positive note ... don't think I'm gonna make it though

why am I even online?

@Jasper Nikki: Sure, I don't see why not. It is interesting to see what other games members are into. I just posted PSP/PS3 cause that is the main focus of the site. :P

@Nexus Prime: Thats quite a nice list you have. I see quite a few minis which I like there (Monopoly, JellyCar 2, WackyLands Boss!) but sadly aren't available in my region. :(

@onmode-ky: Ah, damn. I had a look through a few of the sub-forums for a similar thread a few weeks ago but couldn't find it. If a moderator feels it is necessary to merge, delete or close this topic I have no objection.

I underestimated the amount of games I thought the average member on this forum would have.

@ninigou: You don't install any of your games? As soon as I install any of them on my PSP the PKG file gets replaced with an EBOOT.PBP which doesn't have the light blue bubble around the icon.

@OpenEmotion/PaddyM: You still going to post your collection? It would be interesting to see what some of the people involved in the development of commercial games are into. Maybe it will uncover some unintentional inspirations for some of the Open Emotion games. o_o

It looks like you and HiddenAway (who didn't include PS1/PS2 games) have the most games so far. :D

Does anyone else nerdgasm when they place their games next to each other and admire the box art, how about scrolling up and down the XMB looking at all the pretty minis icons... no? err... maybe it's just me.

Paddy, Freelance, I notice you both have a number of text-heavy Japanese games (i.e., the kind of game where you really need to understand Japanese to get what's going on). Do you speak/read Japanese? I sort of can, but not to any extent where I'd be comfortable playing, say, an RPG; it took me a while to decide to get Tales of Vesperia (PS3) because of that, and the downloaded demo of PSP visual novel Second Novel is taking me quite a while because of all the vocabulary I don't know (really not helped by a lot of the text not being voiced, in contrast to the UMD visual novels I have).

Regarding the XMB scrolling thing, I, er, actually strive to limit my games spending, so the sound of the scrolling is like a scolding voice to me.

@onmode-ky, hell no. I don't read or speak Japanese. I only got those games 'cause they already had full scripts, walkthroughs and translations which enabled me to play them. Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten them at all.

Limit game spending? Doesn't sound like you are, ha.

Hey Onmode,

I speak and read enough Japanese to be able to very easily enjoy games like No More Heroes and Red Seeds Profile, which have a large amount of english content in them. As for Yakuza Kenzan and 4, well they are challenging and I dont always know whats going on story wise, but I play them for the game play and when they come out in Europe I can catch up on the pieces I couldnt work out. Kenzan is very hard to play because its all heavily Kanji, not much hiragana/katakana and there is not much in the way of a radar...

@thumbbandit Is feel for two any good? We obv saw the individual games get slated but when you put all 12 together for a tiny fraction of the price, is it worth it.

I always felt feel for two should have got a review as not all awful games with high price tags, are awful games when you get loads together for much cheaper

If the games in 'Everybody’s Stress Buster' were released separately they would have been slated too... so I'd have to go with an educated yes, based on this fact (even though I haven't played the games that make up 'Feel For Two').

I know... vague at best.

Interestingly, the game Basha Baloot has been reviewed twice. The first review of Basha Baloot was a full review when it was initially released as part of a card game collection of three titles (Basha Baloot, Basha Tarneeb and Basha Trix). The second review of Basha Baloot was a short summary when it was released as a standalone game.

As far as I am aware the game code didn't change in any way. The game was reviewed twice because it has been released in two incarnations - i.e. initially as part of a multi-game collection and more recently as a standalone game.

I was told that 'Feel For Two' wasn't a game... but a collection of games, and as such it did not warrent a review... I didn't agree with it then (and I don't agree with it now), but hey... dems da brakes.

On the plus side Carson said the game was worth about a 7-8, and without a full review I was at leased happy with that.
I'm NOT going to push for a review.
