Capcom must REALLY hate the Vita. Okami HD was announced as a PS3 exclusive. Don't get me wrong, that's fantastic news and I plan on getting it when I get a PS3, but how did they not think a Vita version would be a good idea?
But it's alright though, Street Fighter X Tekken is coming...
And yes, that is sarcasm.

I think Capcom just hates Sony. They just make games for the PS3 because they sort of have to, for the Japanese market.

Capcom don't hate Sony... they hate everybody.

Here is some more stupid questions about the Vita that I have.
Do Emulators work on the Vita? Like a GBA and SNES.
I have homebrew games and applications on my PSP. Will they work on a Vita?
Comics? I have a couple of comics and I was wondering if they worked on a Vita.
My last question is that can you keep all of your games activated? I have 3 minis in the UK and they only work if I reactivate.Posted 11 months ago # -
not until they crack it, which i hope they don't...could be a while... Vita is quite powerful indeed, i feel better if i payed for them myself instead of just freebie-ing it...

As sniper said the Vita hasn't been cracked yet. I hope it never does because then people will hack the trophies.

Same as above
Comics? I have a couple of comics and I was wondering if they worked on a Vita.
Comics don't work as of now I think. I'm not entirely certain because I couldn't get comics on my PSP anyways.

You can only have one activated at the same time. It's even worse than the PSP because I think your memory cards are tied to PSN accounts. So to have two accounts you'd need two memory cards.Posted 11 months ago # -
Wow, that sucks.

Ask Jasper for more about changing PSN accounts on the Vita.

Well emulators and homebrew do work on the Vita via PSP mode if you have VHBL installed, however that ship has sailed unless you have one the games with the vulnerability(super collapse in my case) in them and aren't on 1.69FW.
But I have been playing SNES and GBA games on my Vita for awhile. Again this is just through PSP mode, the Vita itself has not been cracked.

Wow, thanks for the information.

I admit that I didn't give a crap about Vita getting a YouTube app, but I admit the videos look great on the screen.

Based on my experience, changing accounts are f***** ridiculous. No, the memory cards are not *tied* to a PSN account. You can use the same memory card for two different accounts, BUT, you have to reformat it before switching accounts. And by reformatting it, you are bound to backup your saves, and because backing up your account (settings, photos, game saves)takes a ridiculous time to finish, it's not funny. Backing up your saves means backing up THE ENTIRE GAME (for retail, the "bubble"). The PC-Vita transfer rate is Matrix slow-mo. Then you have to reset your Vita, and watch the entire "opening video", and login your PSN account, then logging in your Wi-Fi credentials. But first, if you care about trophies, you have to sync them to the servers first before resetting the Vita.
I actually bought a spare 4GB memory card for our review accounts. By that method, I just have to reset my Vita and take out my memory card. Using the same memory card is too much of a hassle.

Eh, if I can get a Vita, I can live without Farm Frenzy 2, Urbanix, and Jewel Keepers: Easter Island. I got them all free from my UK account.

I really want to backup my Vita saves, but I don't have the space on my laptop for all the sh*t I don't want backed up and I can't deal with how long it takes. Yeah I can start it and do something else, but just the thought of how slow it is and how long it's taking is enough to piss me of.
There is this unease I get when it comes to Vita saves. For some reason I'm just not confident that my data won't end up corrupted for whatever reason.

Can we transfer our PSP save data to the Vita? I do not want to do over getting Ripley in Velocity and getting gold in every Who's That Flying?! mission and most of all, beating Trailblazer. That was hard.
Posted 10 months ago # -
Thanks Ofaliss. It does not seem very easy. That stinks.
Posted 10 months ago # -
I wasn't sure, but could you transfer data back to the PC the PSP? Or is it just a one-way street?
Posted 10 months ago # -
Delete the old save data from your computer and copy the new data from your Vita to your computer. After that you can just trasnfer it to your PSP using Media Go as usual.
Or you can just go into your saves on your PSP when it's hooked to your computer and do the same thing as what I said with the computer. After that you can transfer it to your computer using Media Go. Which ever way you think'll be easier.

Turns out, you don't need to back up your saves in order to switch accounts. That is a plus 1 to Vita. I am thinking about getting a Vita, or a GBA. Man I miss my GBA.Posted 10 months ago # -
How much do GBAs cost nowadays anyways? Also what happened to your last one?
Posted 10 months ago # -
Do they still sell GBAs? I wouldn't mind finding the key chain sized one. I also liked the one I had that folded up.
Posted 10 months ago # -
Well, you might find used GBAs for sale or new GBAs in some clearance or forgotten-stock pile, but they've been out of production for a few years. The folding, clamshell one is the GBA SP.
I wouldn't mind finding the key chain sized one.
I think you mean the Game Boy micro. It's really not so small you could put it on a keychain (at least not if you actually intended to use the keychain--which I wouldn't recommend anyway, since the keys would destroy the device). It's roughly the size/shape of the PSP's screen.

There is this store in my mall called game planet. I thought it would be tacky, but it's really nice. They have a lot of the systems from past generations. PS2's, the original XBOX, Sega Genisis and Saturn, they have everything. They even have all 3 versions of the GBA. It's in good condition for a used one. I already have a SNES which was around 70 dollars.
As for my old GBA... Well... I destroyed. It fell hard in a puddle.

Did it fall... or was it pushed?! :P
;)P.S. I still have an original 'grey brick' GameBoy, 2 clear colour GameBoy Pockets, a GameBoy Color (US, hence the spelling of colour), a GameBoy Advance (black) and a GameBoy SP Brighter (metalic blue).

It fell. I was walking and playing and it broke. I was pissed. By the way, thumbbandit, can I have one?
Posted 10 months ago # -
Which one. :P
;)Posted 10 months ago # -
GBA, I still have all my games.
