Is it possible to achieve all the rainbows with single player? Or do I have to play online with others? Because some of the levels seems impossible for single player.

For what difficulty? They are all possible to rainbow on singleplayer and im sure you can look up a video walkthrough if your desprate. I got my rainbows to around 30% when I gave up.

...why do you want to rainbow everything? i'm struggling with the challenges, have not even worried about rainbows

It's definitely possible, I did it after endless hours of gameplay. I even took notes on some levels about different solutions so I could spot the weaknesses and adjust them. I understand your inquiry though because I thought it was impossible when I started the game. Keep at it and you'll see.

I guess I need to write down some notes too. Is it true that the PSP version is harder than the PS3?

Wow! THOTH, do you get 100% in alot of games?

Trust me, the notes help! I haven't heard that it's harder on PS3 but I doubt it, I think that the PSP version is a direct port... but don't hold me to it
I get 100% in a lot of games but I haven't attempted to get all the rainbows on Hard. I thought Normal was unbelievably hard so after I got all rainbows I got burned out with the game. I tried Hard and got a few rainbows but didn't notice much of a difference so I abandoned it... who knows though, maybe I'll try it again because it's my favorite tower defense game and nothing has come close since.

@THOTH
Did you try fieldrunners? It's a pretty good game also

Yeah but it's very short, and dont have achievements or unlockables, just unlock new modes, AND THE FORWARD BUTTOND DONT WORKS >.< JUST WORKS FOR EASY LEVELS.

I have field runners on my memory card but haven't gotten around to it yet. I've heard it's pretty good so I'll eventually play it. I'm really looking forward to the new mini core blaster which is released today! It sounds right down my alley, albeit almost every genre is.

I own PixelJunk Monsters on both the PS3 and PSP and I don't think there are any differences in difficulty.

@Balrog
