Has anyone heard anything about non-game minis? Is Sony planning on trying to angle the PSP Go toward iTouch potential buyers with more iTouch-ish apps? Calendar App? Facebook App? NPR News? Instapaper? Check Register App? The list goes on...

In Gamasutra's recent feature, Sony says that they are not trying to compete with Apple on non-gaming applications, so I'm guessing this is a no.

Yes, that, and past things they have said, do read pretty clearly as a no. Real shame.
Hopefully this will change in the future. Even Microsoft allow non game titles on the indie game section of XBLA I think.
