Ack, no pictures of Gravity Daze? That's the one that had really caught my attention. Still, these are pretty nice. I didn't know Novarama, creators of Invizimals, was behind Reality Fighters. If anyone can do a good augmented reality fighting game, they can.
I was hoping for some Gravity Daze screens too. Thats my most anticipated release for the NGP. Wipeout looks amazing, hell they all do!
I can't wait for Monday. Sony's E3 press conference starts a 5PM. Not sure what time zone that's based on.
it's around 02:00 monday night in the Netherlands
it all looks great ... I like the variety at this point :)
I want screenshots of (one of) the first person shooters ... they should work flawlessly on NGP so I need my fix to make up for all these years of barely getting anything on the handheld
there should be plenty and they should be good
they may be gameloft's but then they should be very very cheap
what a beast.
The first untitled game is Super Stardust Delta.
I like how that guy who made Rift: Everyday Shooter made the launch lineup for sony's next handheld!!!
doesn't look like much but it's a mustbuy for me just because of rift :)
I just keep wetting myself with excitement.
imo Peace Walker is allready playable (controllable) as it is but that's just because Kojima is god and he wished it so
I'd love to replay games like Brothers in Arms though, those controls were crazy :D
I just keep wetting myself with excitement.
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I read that as "I just keep wetting myself with excrement."
@ sp3c
That's very true, but nothing beats a second stick. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the PSP's one stick, because it was one handhelds didn't have before. But it's hard to deny the benefits of 2 sticks.
@ onmode-ky
What IS wrong with you?! o_O
pff I ain't gonna play psp games on ngp. I'll just buy another psp 3000 cuz the one I have now won't last for another year I am sure (UMD Drive).
..it's hard to deny the benefits of 2 sticks.
Agreed. Two analogue sticks was my number 1 feature request for the next Sony portable, so really glad to see it on the NGP. Now we just need to see some awesome FPS titles making the best of them! :-)
The main thing I'm concerned about is the size of it.
If the thing was the size of a freaking laptop, I'd still get it! The PSP provided me with too many great moments to have anything effect my desire in this thing. Not size, not battery life, not a law banning it's use in the US, NOTHING!
As much as I hate to, I will probably wait a month or 2 after it's release to get one. Just in case the 1st batch has any issues.
@ Ofaliss
But it's hard to deny the benefits of 2 sticks.
that's what she said!!!!
ow and yeah I'll buy it no matter what happens ... the world has to end for me not to stand in line at launchday and then I'd probably steal one from the ruined factories seeing as how I'm a zombie these days after all
but Ï am concerned about the size as well.
great for winterdays when you have big jackets with big pockets but on a day like today I'd probably leave it at home like the old ancient huge fat PSP back in the day.
fortunately I'm never ever getting rid of my PSP Go ... unless they bring out an NGP model with the same size
Wipeout!! Looks awesome!!!
Only some games will be able to take advantage of the NGP's controls, I hope it's games that I actually care about.
EDIT: Untitled games in original post should be changed to Super Stardust Delta and Sound Shapes.
"Super Stardust Delta" . . . Has the Stardust series been taking sequel-naming lessons from R-Type? There are, after all, Super R-Type and R-Type Delta. Maybe we should expect Stardusts, Super Stardust Leo, Super Stardust Final, and Super Stardust Tactics/Command at some point. :) Maybe with bitter chocolate.
I expect there will be a suitable belt-mount pouch for the NGP. That's how I quite easily carry around my PSP-2000.
