Hi!

So, my previous mini came about at least partly because of a post in these forums. Let's continue that trend, shall we...

I'm starting to think about a new mini. I have tons of ideas and a general concept for the game. Obviously it's very early days, so I don't have much info to share yet, but it's probably accurate to say it will be more action focussed than the last one I did*.

I did want to get some help though. I've put together a really short survey on Survey Monkey, designed to gather some info from people who play minis, about the sort of things you want to see more of. It only has 5 questions and should take less than a minute to complete. There are no prizes, sorry!, but the benefit is that, as a developer, I can make the sort of games you want to play! Win!

idk, steam pirates should be released soon, so I dont think its safe to say it will be lacking by the time developement of this game is done.

btw, Paul, thanks for contacting the community here again to know how we feel about the games you are developing. its really awesome when people do that! :)

For me it's Zelda Links Awakening on the classic gameboy, or any of the other Zelda games on the colour and advance. ;)

hmm, thats a tough question to answer, Im going to go with Sword of Mana on the GBA I guess. its easy to compare to Zelda, but adds so much more to the table, its pretty much what would happen if Zelda and Final Fantasy had a child..... pure awesomeness.

I can't say I have played that many handheld RPGs, but I did like WayForward's Sigma Star Saga a lot. It combined two of my favorite video game genres and had a fun story and great character design, plus a catchy soundtrack by Shin'en. That game is actually the only GBA title I have completely finished, and twice.

Most of the handheld RPGs I have (mostly unfinished) seem to be console ports to the PSP. You know, FF1, FF2, FFT:TWOTL, Star Ocean and Star Ocean 2, Valkyrie Profile, and Lunar. Half-Minute Hero is fun but doesn't really play like most RPGs. I haven't even opened Hexyz Force yet.
