I got a question. Who do YOU think is going to put out the next "New" PSP mini?
I personally think that its either going to be Square Enix. What do you think?
Next big Developer?

I hope you are right. I love many of Square Enix's works.

Maybe Konami? They do pretty good stuff. Though, if I had to say, I would wish it would be Namco Bandai- imagine: Mini Katamari.

I could totally see them doing a Minis Katamari. They released it on the iPhone.

I'm hoping Level-5.
They make the greatest RPG games ever.Posted 3 years ago # -
I would love to see ID get involved. They jumped in pretty deep with the iPhone. Would be great to see them share there love with the PSP.

I was thinking about ID as well, Chris. I see know reason why they couldn't bring over Doom Resurrection and some of their other iPhone ports to the PSP.
On the other hand, I think the last id game made for a (non-Apple) handheld was the port of Wolfenstein 3-D on the GBA.

Halloween is almost here, and since O-man slowed a bit on the Necromancing i'm pitching in a bit. Big developers don't usually spend time on minis, I'd prefer the old OpenEmotions and Mediatonics instead, the big dogs should give us what we want on the consoles.

I like their optimism for mini devs. ;)

Sorry about that sniper. I worked 6 nights last week, so I was pretty tired. I'll try to revive one more this week and wrap it up on Hallows Ween.
And yeah, don't hold your breath on a mini featuring Solid Snake or Cloud!

sorry you had to work so much, but the necromancing will contintue regardless to keep everything going. never hold breath on the impossibles, you'll simply pass out (probably).

I just want Cowboy Rodeo to port Pinball Illusions over. Oh man I'd so love that, but it's been ages since Dreams and Fantasies came out so it's now a lost cause :(
If we're talking about bigger devs, then probably Konami. I want to see a Contra-light.

If we're talking Konami, then, for me, it would have to be Castlevania and Gradius. ;)

I like those two, but Contra's my fave of the 3 franchises. I wouldn't mind of any of them went to Minis though, but I prefer Salamander to Gradius.
P.S. I find it lame they made a Gradius and Salamander (Life Force to us) collections for PSP but not a Contra or Castlevania collection. Never mind the Dracula X Chronicles. I don't consider that a 'compilation' when there's only 3 games on it, one of which is a remake.

i'll take even a contra clone now, shooters like gradius clones are welcome too.

Contra style shooter eh....
Gradius style shooter eh........

P Daddy, if you were to make one of those I dont know what I would do. I can imagine the high fun level would cause me to buy a plane ticket to your offices and hug all the women working there. You of course would get a really high five.

the level of fun on the thread would be so high i need another machine to replace the one that will explode, again. i would buy a ticket to your office and personally thank you should that happen. just do not be surprised if i start laughing like a crazed fanboy since awesomeness from P Daddy tend to have that kind of effect.

Gradius style shooter eh........
Stop trying to get my attention. \"Destroy the Core!\"
hug all the women working there
Two thoughts:
1. The chances of finding a woman in a game development studio are sadly pretty low, though I see there are at least a couple at OES.
2. I hope that wasn\'t a euphemism. ;P

Don\'t tell me they\'ve combined them both!

I have a request for Mediatonic!
A game where you play as a washed up crime fighter, forced back into action when his favorite gas station is held hostage, preventing him from obtainig his mega gulp and nachos! He has no powers, he\\\'s fairly stupid, and 20 pounds overweight, but his city needs him, and he needs his junk food fix.
Armed with only the tools his simple mind can come up with, you maneuver this overweight beacon of hope through the mean streets of \\\"Some Random City\\\", as you pound your way through hentchmen and villains not much smarter than you!
Tell me that\\\'s not a great idea!

@ Ofaliss:
Sounds like a hit to me. A brawler perhaps? Course I ain\'t the one making it so I can\'t call the shots, but given 1000 Tiny Claws recent success, I think this one might follow in its footsteps. Would definitely pick it up.Posted 1 year ago # -
seonded!!!!! i could use more beat em ups, not enough of those. what i really want is NGP(C) games on PSN, mini or not makes no difference, i just want them!
Posted 1 year ago # -
Thirded! And in a \"Random\" city to boot. Was that for me O? You\'re on to something bro.
Posted 1 year ago # -
Yup, a side scrolling brawler.
Maybe I\'ll shoot them an email and see what they think. I\'m sure any of the mini developers would do something great with the idea, but I love Mediatonics humor, and this idea is right up their alley.
I\'m such a freaking genius! >:D
