   The ESRB recently rated the game again, but I thought it was perhaps a glitch, given the nonsensical description (something about the D&D tabletop game).

   But according to the drop, the post from the official Sony blog about games coming out this week, there is another Angry Birds coming out.

   Same one just with a different publisher? (Rovio instead of Chillingo)? Or whole new version?

   I saw that ESRB rating and thought it was some sort of screwup, too. Either that, or someone hacked their database and played a joke. In fact, I contacted the ESRB to make sure they knew about it (didn't get a response).

   The ESRB finally saw what I was talking about and fixed the rating summary for this second AB rating. I wonder how that happened in the first place. The text was not only irrelevant but had cut-off words, so it looked like an unintended copy-paste.

   Well, it's not like they get several hundred dollars per title or anything. Oh wait...

   It's like Grace Chen at the PSN Store, she just copy and pastes her store list, but never checks it for mistakes. Yet I'm sure she's probably making six figures.

   Anyway, according to preliminary reports (from the PSNStores guy), the game is pretty much the same, but the slowdown has been improved somewhat.

   So basically they just bumped the POS up on the new release list to get even more people to buy it. I honestly don't get the fascination for such a luck driven game that lacks any real likability.

    if i don't have to pay for it again, i'm willing to download it with all my previous save intact and just keep hurling them birds at the pigs. if not then : screw you fools who can't port a good game and now making us pay again for the same piece of crap you lousy no good money grubbing lazy people (this is all directed at those that didn't do a good job porting AB, no one else) !!!

    A person from Rovio confirmed on NeoGAF that they're working with Sony to resolve this issue and allow those who purchased the older version get the new version for free. As it has a new ID (since it's from a different publisher) it simply can't replace the old version in our download list.

    *readies armies of Big Reds* this developer got one chance to get it right. if i gotta pay for this i'm gonna wait a bit and confirm that previous buyers don't have to pay. but if they screw it up again... *sets first Big Red on slingshot* well it's gonna be bad.

    In the Neogaf thread, someone mentioned that the new version still lags bad on certain stages. The PSP situation involving this game is a huge mess. I'm so glad I resisted buying the new one. For a second I was thinking they remade from scratch but when they said it had trophies, I knew something was up.
