First was the amazingly awesome Vanguard.
Now they've rated Ozma Wars

Hmm, this might not be good news, from a bigger picture standpoint. Sasuke vs. Commander is one of the games in the SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 0 collection. If it's being rated as an independent game, then it could be a sign that Vol. 0 will not be coming to the US. Or maybe it will be coming, but entirely broken up into Minis (or rather maybe only a selection will be coming). Kind of odd, though, that the other SNK retro titles rated so far have not been part of Vol. 0, so maybe they're just planning to release some of their catalog twice.
Not sure what to make of it.
The Ozma Wars reveal is a bit of a deja vu for me; just recently, I noted an AtariAge user named "ozma wars" posting a question in the Arcade Coin-Op forum about Ozma Wars, the arcade cabinet.

I just looked up gameplay footage for Ozma Wars and Sasuke vs. Commander. Somehow, Ozma feels more primitive than Space Invaders, even though it has more complex movement going on on the screen. Something about the way it looks makes it seem less polished, I guess. Sasuke looks far more interesting. Incidentally, it turns out to be the same genre of game as Ozma and Invaders, a single-screen vertical shooter, just with the player avatar at the bottom of the screen being a human instead of a vehicle.
In other retro-on-PSP news, it looks like the first TurboGrafx-16 game is finally heading to the (North American) PS Store this week, Neutopia (according to the PS Blog).
