Hey guys, I was just wondering, did anyone here pick up Modnation Racers for PSP? I did back at launch, and had a lot of fun with it over the summer, but coming back to it I've noticed no one plays online. I wouldn't be against us trying to do a weekly racers day if we have enough people.

I absolutely love the game, and hope Sony brings a version to NGP, because while WipEout is amazing and all, Modnation is something else entirely. Think of the freedom to create with all the touchscreens, and cameras...

I picked it up when it was released too. Maybe it's because it's the PSP version, but it was lacking in customization to me. I still had fun with it though, too bad they haven't and likely never will, release DLC for the PSP version.

I have that game too. I got it free when I bought my PSP3K. I barely touched it though. It's not a bad game (I also have it on PS3) but I'd rather play the Wipeout series.

Yeah, the customization options are no where near as robust on the PS3, but I don't really mind.

I have it, but trying to play it online via Satellite internet (which I am stuck with) would be comical at best.

I sort of liked it, but as much as I hate this complaint about the PSP in general, I found the controls awkward.

was excited for modnation on both systems... and then I found out there was no battle mode. What's a cart racer without battle mode??

Have you tried connecting via PS3 adHoc multiplayer? I don't know about modnation but it seems to be the trend for some other games judging by the gamefaqs forums.

I have it too, play the story mode every once in a while (haven't finished it yet :D)

think it's fun but I'm not that into racers and Motorstorm is just more fun to me
but I wouldn't mind playing online :)

@confuletlyf: The game has infrastructure mode supported right away like Motorstorm. No need to use Ad-hoc Party.

I also have MotorStorm: Arctic Edge for PSP (though I suck at that one), so if you guys wanted to do online races in that I wouldn't mind either.

I have a few online multiplayer games (I need to get Arctic Edge), and I'd be willing to play with or against everyone here. Maybe we could alternate and have multiplayer get togethers. Maybe vote on a new game to meet up in once a week.

that's maybe a better idea

or just rotate a number of games, that way everybody get's what he/she likes at some point.
voting and democracy are cool and all but majority rules so it'll be pretty much the same thing every week

I own it on PS3 where there's loads of players. I beat Story Mode and onl need to beat two more challenges. (arrrgh) I'm also liking this PSP game day thing. We'd have to agree on what time to do it at.
