Saw this on the Sony EU blog, thought it was quite relevant. Shame none of our games feature. :(

LOL I don't even have AOZ. xD
Great for such a young service that's still having growing pains.
9 months in, I would have thought this announcement would have come sooner. Still, congrats Sony!
I think going from 0 to a million takes a lot longer than going from 1 million to 2, and so on. I expect that a number of smaller developers previously sitting on the fence will take another look at the platform now, and that minis will be taken a (little) bit more seriously by the games press going forward too. At least I hope so!

There are, what, 85 Minis available? That comes out to an average of less than 12,000 downloads each. Assuming a $4 price, that's less than $48,000 of revenue. And, with some of them being way more popular than others, this means there are probably quite a few that haven't even broken 1,000.
I guess everyone will have to stay with instant ramen dinners.
I didn't mean to sound so down in my previous post. blacklabgames is right; the next million will come faster. In particular, PS+ has introduced a lot of people to Minis and probably helped break the misconception that "all Minis suck." In fact, I think that this may have increased Minis awareness and (positive) interest more than any other measure, at least for SCEA.
