i dont think i saw a post about it,
given that its the first (of hopefully many) minis to be submitted to the independent games festival, i think it should be given some attention.
all i really know about it is its a "music-puzzle" game, id like to hear about how that works exactly.
oh, and i also know Beatshapers also published Breakquest, according to their site.

From the screen shots, looks like Bejeweled Twist. Basically a match 3 game with instead of switch gems, you rotate a block of four. Dunno where the music part comes in.
OTOH, considering that Breakquest, their other mini, has never made it to NA, even though it was a launch title, I don't have hope for this one...

MemberGah, that almost made sense. But I think Vempire also uses this mechanic (twisting gems, instead of swapping places).
Sigh, I wish someone would make a regular Match 3 game for the PSP (be it mini or whatever). I think there's only 2, 7 Wonders and Puzzle Quest, and I'm sick of both of them.
That's part of the trouble with minis, many developers are trying to be too original, when they should copy popular stuff that for some reason doesn't exist much on the PSP.

Memberwell i think cloning other games isnt really seen as an awesome thing to do for professional game developers,
and imo in the whole point of being an indie developer is so you can experiment with gameplay mechanics publishers wouldent risk their money on, attempting to be original is the fun in video game development, if i was a professional game developer i would hate to copy the popular stuff.and it seems like scea is finally starting to get some minis on our psn,
