What does everyone think of the new update?
I have been using it about and am slowly getting used to it but I absolutely despise the removal of the tile view style (and the other styles). The new forced list style makes browsing through large amounts of games less enjoyable and the icons of PSP games are slightly too large leading to a bit blur.

it's terrible. I liked that I could view my music by albums, and keep the album view open while looking in any one album.
If you connect your psp or a thumbdrive then you cannot hide the giant album images in the playlists, which is really annoying since a lot of my music is individual tracks.
It looks nicer but doesn't seem to function nearly as well. Biggest complaint, you can't drag and drop songs into the playlists now, you have to use right-click and add to.
I upgraded to 2.0 and was disappointed not only by the above-mentioned issues but also the fact that you can only sort files by name now. I'll be downgrading to 1.8, if I can; I'll just deal with losing Store access via PC by going from the PSP. Anyway, if anyone else wants to voice their complaints, please join me in sending Media Go feedback to Sony.
@onmody-ky: A feature I have found quite useful in sorting my games (I think music/videos/comics/etc. can also be sorted). Is to create a new "View" and also adding tags to the content to help in filtering content. Maybe it is something which can solve your problem, maybe not.
I created a view to be able to sort games by date, but it doesn't work for saved data; when you try to sort saved data, it only sorts the save files within each game; the actual list of games stays alphabetized only. Filtering doesn't help, since I want all the content displayed, just in a more useful order.
And trust me, I searched high and low through those help pages for solutions. Probably spent an hour, ugh. Their "advanced search" does not take "order by" clauses.
I like how their feedback page asks, "Have you ever seen this feature before? If so, where?" I wrote something like "In the previous version of this software."

The normal method of displaying saved data is '(Is:"Saved Data"),' which does what I was saying above (displaying games alphabetically, sorting the saves within them by the column you picked). How did it even occur to you to try replacing the "Is" with "Format"?
Unfortunately, using "Format" instead of "Is" still doesn't display the Details part of each saved data file like it does in the non-view library display of saved data (e.g., the text that tells you how much time you've played Flying Hamster or how far you've gotten in Blimp: The Flying Adventure). You could get that in version 1.x. I don't understand why they changed display types so that it depends on type of content now; it was uniform before, so it's like they did extra work to make things less useful. Now some items can have a zoomable thumbnail view, but most can't; some items can sort more than one way, but most can't (outside of crippled views).
It's no longer a separate thing for itself in the left sidebar. You have to click on the sidebar's "Games" choice, then go over to the main window and choose the "Saved Data" tab. It's kind of like how movies and TV shows are now the same sidebar option but are separately displayed via tab selection.
