Hey guy's,

Just said I'd drop on here and lash a few links to articles about Mad Blocker Alpha: Revenge of the Fluzzle's which is hoping to see a release in the EU next month. not sure about our release in the states and asia just yet, but we'll keep everyone posted. I really enjoy the flash game. Im hoping that this version that is been made for the PSP as a mini, will offer new stuff and better game play. Cant wait for the screenshots and a trailer of the game play.

Unfortunately Shaz, There won't be a gameplay trailer :(

This being our first Mini we haven't the budget to get decent screen recording software... In saying that, we will have some more
off-screen video's and screen-shot's and stuff and I can assure you that it is going to be sooooo much better than the flash version!

Looking forward to learning more about this game. I haven't played the Flash version so it's nice to have something different to look forward to! :-)

I know yeah... Hopefully after the release we will be able to buy a decent Happauge HD recorder for creating kick ass trailers for Ninjamurai, our second Mini, coming next year... Anyhow, for now screens shall have to suffice. More screens and another music track have become available over at:

The writer goes on to say:

We have six screens to share with you, all of which show off the game’s intuitive and distinctive aesthetic.
We also have an additional treat to share with you, a snippet of music from the game’s Fake Path Mountain Stage. Is it just me or does this sound like Muse before they started to embellish every last riff, every last tempo and every last percussive rhythm? It sounds amazing. How did they make something that sounds this original and huge fit on your tiny PSP?!

Compliment central for me as the Music Composer (Also, helps that I am quite the Muse fan so that's an epic compliment!)

Just read the interview and I'm even more intrigued about this puzzler. Sorry to say, I didnt play the flash game. I love your idea of a special price during week one. Second sale right here! Oh, and I am by no means making fun, but Paddy Murphy? Irish? It cant get any better than that! I didnt even realise unitl I read a post at the sixth axis site. Default.........Hehehe

You cant get that recording software if you know where to look. You know what I mean?
Anyways this game art style is really nice. Cant wait for it to come out. I love puzzle games.

Hey guys,

Just said I'd jump on and confirm that Mad Blocker Alpha has been delayed until January. It's our own fault and comes down to a few technical glitches. We will have a video up very soon from the company launch where the game was shown live.

I don't really care about a gameplay vid... I'm gettin' this game no matter what. ;)

P.S. A gameplay vid would be nice… but not essential.

Hey there dudes,

Sorry about the radio silence on our end. We've been up the wall's with Ninjamurai's development. Essentially, Mad Blocker Alpha has seen another slip in it's release schedule... However it does mean that the game will probably see a simultaneous release in Europe and The States now, so that's kind of cool. The game is done, the delay is essentially a marketing issue... Also, The game has received it's first review and is awaiting another in the coming days from the guy's at The Sixth Axis.

Hi Paddy - thanks for the news update! Great review - well done!

Totally understand about the release timing. It makes sense. Plus we like it here when games are released in the NA/EU at similar times because it means that we all get to experience/comment on the games at the same time! ;-)

The gameplay video looks fantastic! I love the art style and quirky (and slighty disturbing looking!) creatures :-) The game looks like an interesting twist on the traditional Tetris-style puzzle mechanic.

It was actually a heart wrenching decision to hold out on the release but I think it'll be worth it... @Volcane, Thanks man about the Gameplay Video, It was so much fun to show it off publicly and we are really looking forward to possibly showing off some Ninjamurai footage at this years Games Fleadh in Ireland, so I should have vids of that for you in March.

@Hiddenaway - Thanks so much man, we're really proud of it and we are of the same opinion in regards to January. I mean we can't compete with LBP2 or Dead Space 2 and it would be lunacy to even try...

@ThumbBandit, cheers man, you are a legend indeed! We hope you like the game on the 9th of February. Thanks about the review as well, we were very happy with the score as you can imagine!

Yeah I didn't want to confirm the Dev Blogs until all the lads assured me that they could manage them at least once a week. Ninjamurai should have enough art, sound , music, story and game design choices to make for a really interesting Dev Blog.

Thanks Volcane, We're really excited to see how people react to the title as it is our first foray into console development... Hopefully we're here to stay :D
