If Dragon's Lair is cheap enough I wouldn't mind it. I'm a little disappointed that there isn't another PS1 release this week. I guess we were getting spoiled last month.
Is it just me or is the PSP dying out already?
Look like another quiet week .

people have just been moving onPosted 1 year ago # -
Dont start with this "PSP is dead" shit, the system has been around with the same tech for 6 years, so its kind of to late to be saying "that is dying". Anyways we have plenty of new games this year, for example The 3rd Birthday, Patapon 3 etc... Plus PSP2 is coming out this year and you have the launch of Nintendo 3DS. So cool it man. Here is The 3rd Birthday review The 3rd Birthday

Don't forget Trails in the Sky. That was my most anticipated title for years (until Tactics Ogre came out)
Trails in the Sky keep on turnin', don't know where my copy will be tomorrow...
Well, probably still sitting in Amazon's warehouse. Why is it if you pre-order DVDs, they will ship it ahead of time so you get it on release date (or close to it) if you pick free shipping, but with video games, they wait a few days after it's released, so you get it a week or two later?
Anyway, I would actually say this year (and 2nd part of 2010) has been better for the PSP than the previous two (2008-2009).
It will be interesting to see how long Minis last. Will they keep selling because they work on the PS3? Or because Sony seems to be pushing them with PS+? Might see those for quite some time. (I hope so)

For PSP
Dragon’s Lair – $7.99
WWE All Stars – 29.99
3rd Birthday – 29.99
The Legend of Heroes – 29.99As for what I said about the PSP dying, I'm just saying things have been slowing down and with the announcement of a new system I don't think Sony is too worried about keeping the PSP around in 2012. The PSP isn't the sales success that the PS2 or PS1 was. There wont be much of a life after this year.

@Shazbots - The system wasn't on the same tech since it came out. I bought a PSP-1000 when it came out and used it for a couple of years, then let it sit for a couple of years because I lost interest in it. Once it got updated with the PSN store that meant I could cram games onto the system and not have to bring around all those 60 or so UMDs I had. Download updates like that are new tech and reinvigorated a dead system (for me anyway).

No offense to anyone, but just because you sit your PSP down for "years", doesn't mean the system is dying. If that was the case, based on the number of you who have alleged to doing so, the PSP would have died 3 years ago.
The last couple of years the system has seen some great games that rival home consoles in terms of content and enjoyment. As soon as we hit a bump in the road, the "PSP is dying." comments start popping up. When there are dry spells with content not being uploaded to PSN, I blame Sony far a lack of trying, not that the PSP is dying.
Sony will get their 10 years out of the PSP, I can promise you that.
But back on topic. The 3rd Birthday is a must have for me. I've been waiting for years for this baby to release and it comes with a code to download Lightning's Aya Brea outfit!

If I didn't support the PSP I wouldn't be here.
Sorry, but I don't usually hang around message boards to hear all of these "PSP is dying" comments. I just think they could be offering more and they clearly not.

@Ofaliss
Did you pre-order 3rd B-Day? Cause I didn't. My wife is gonna grab it at walmart in the morning. I want the costume download.

Thanks man! First come first serve.

Third party support is pretty important. I don't think Sony are the issue here.

Good point. Unfortunately they may be headed for greener pastures by now. I would just be happy to have more PS1 games brought onto the system.

Yea, I agree. I would love more PS1 classics. I usually only buy Minis and Classics anyway. Unless its something like 3rd Birthday or 012. You know what PS1 game I really want? Moto Racer: World Tour. I loved that game.

I wish they could release Ehrgeiz in NA.

@Ofaliss - I forgot about that one. Two games in one. I can't remember if the quest mode was really that good.
My favorite quest mode I wouldn't mind trying out again would be Tobal#1.
I'm not holding my breath.Posted 1 year ago # -
Lol, I never played the quest mode!

Holy crap! Wasn't Ehrgeiz the shooter? If its the one I'm thinking about, I loved that game.

No it was a fighter that had characters from Final Fantasy in it, and it also had a dungeon type game with it as well that had it's own characters and story. I know the game you're thinking of and it had a very similar name to it. Wasn't it Einhander or something like that.
Posted 1 year ago # -
Yes, he's most likely thinking of Square's Einhänder. I've never played it, but it has a good reputation.
Posted 1 year ago # -
Ahhh, yes it was Einhander. Wow, now I feel like a jacka$$. Oh well, Ehrgeiz sounds good too. I used to love playing Einhander though. I wish the whole PS1 library was available.

I used to know a guy who couldn't get enough of Einhander. He talked about like it was the greastest thing since Mtn Dew!

Yeah you can see my opinion on comment #7. I know I've said it before, but hopefully they start releasing more PS1 games.
