i have a little question about the DS-series
what is the quality of the screen of the devices? how many pixels are there? i searched the web but couldn't find anything...

"little question" is totally meaningless topic name. What about "Quality of the screen of DS-series?", it is better, right?

MemberThe DS has two 256x192 screens
The original was 3 inches wide, but the DS Lite was 3.12 inches, and the DSi XL is 4.2 inches.
As to the quality of the screens, I would say pretty good? Not a high resolution, but there is no ghosting like on the PSP 1000/2000
The 3DS is 800×240 on the top screen (or 400x240 for each eye), 3 1/2 inches and bottom is 320x240 (and 3 inches)
By comparison, the PSP is 480x272 (and 4.3 inches or 3.8 inches on the Go), and the NGP is apparently 960x544 and a whopping 5 inches
