The forums have really been slowing up lately so I decided to make this thread about the new PS3 exclusive \\\'The Last Of Us\\\' developed by Naughty Dog. Here is some information about the game.

Too bad it\'s a console game because I rarely use my consoles anymore.
That said, another zombie game? They\'re getting old now. I think L4D caused a big surge in zombie games. Why can\'t people make games based on werewolves? They\'re cooler than zombies and vampires yet there\'s barely any games for them. Doesn\'t help that 99% of werewolf movies suck too : /
I do believe you\'re right, movies have not helped the werewolf cause! Twilight and Underworld be the main offenders. Twilight being the nail in the coffin.
I\'ve never been too fond of werewolves. They just didn\'t seem as cool as vampires, and not as interesting as a horde of zombies scraping at someone\'s eyeballs.

Well I love wolves and animals in general so naturally I would love werewolves. They can attack you by stealth or nosily, whichever they prefer, and I think they are more deadly than zombies and vampires because they\\\'re fast and strong and could tear your throat out and maul you to shreds easily. You\\\'d never know who is a werewolf until it\\\'s too late. GRAWR!
Zombies are too slow and are easily escape-able as long as you don\\\'t get boxed into a corner (talking about the slow zombies of course).
All vampires do is suck your blood and they look just like us with perhaps paler skin and sharp fangs. I find that so boring but that\\\'s just me.
As for werewolf movies, the Underworld prequel (Rise of the Lycans) is actually a good werewolf movie. It makes them the main characters as opposed to -other- movies where they are just slaves or weak and they even win! Yay!!
Dog Soldiers is another good werewolf movie.
Those are the only two I like though...

What really boils my blood is that this would have been perfect for a Vita launch (or near launch title). Brand new IP from their best developer. It would show the world that Sony was serious when it comes to the Vita.
Instead, not even a spinoff.
Anyway, I\'ve never thought werewolf movies were that good (An American Werewolf in London is about the only one I liked), but wolves are. Wolfen is a great wolf themed horror movie, or at least a pretty good one.
Though come to think of it, I did like that short lived Fox series (from when the network launched), Werewolf. Basically it was like The Incredible Hulk except the guy turned into a werewolf.
I guess part of it is, it\'s really hard to make a believable and scary werewolf. It generally just looks like a really hairy guy or bad CGI.
That is a good point Jeremy. Maybe they figured people would whine about it, since it is a new IP from Sony\'s top developer. \"Blah, blah, what about people who can\'t afford a new system?\", \"Whine, whine, this is how you treat us loyal PS3 users? I\'m getting a 360.\", \"Asinine gibberish, this game would be SO much better on a console.\". Typical BS that Sony and Naughty Dog may have wanted to avoid.
You guys remember that werewolf sitcom that came on ABC Family, back when it was still Fox Family!?
Werewolf on Campus, or something like that. I remember it being fairly funny, but that had to be about 10 years about, and everything was fairly funny to me back then!
Dog Soldiers... one of the best werewolf movies... with awesome creature effects (and not CGI) to boot! ;)
P.S. Here is a litte blooper for you... near the start of the film when the main character is told to shoot the dog, there is no bullet clip in the gun. :D

Yes, werewolves often look really bad. I dunno how people can screw up creating a bipedal wolf but they do it all the time. The worst offender is the one from Harry Potter though. Lupin looked like a hairless skinny rat!!! It\'s that bad! Here\'s a pic!
I actually did like the weres from Van Helsing, even though movie itself isn\'t that good. The further along the movie went, the better the werewolves looked. The transformation scenes looked really painful too.
Dog Soldiers was fine too although it could use some more fur.

Only one thing in that post really had me excited, the screenshot of the girl about to fling a brick at that one guy! Of course, I didn\'t read the blog post, but still, how can you not be excited about smacking someone with a brick!? One of my favorite things to do in GTAIV!
