@HiddenAway: Glad you liked Stellar Attack. I think that one and Cubixx played excellently but with SA at least I felt the presentation could've been so much better and the game has ZERO polish.
It was done on such a slim timeframe and we've tried to push the polish on our games forward incrementally since then.
IMO at least, I think we at LJ are good at coming up with original game mechanics and the gameplay itself is always a little quirky and usually good fun, but compared to other companies the polish on our titles is not there yet (in terms of unlockables, extras, little mini-rewards etc) which is a shame as generally the building blocks are there for great experimentation.
Hopefully with OMG-Z we take another step forward in that direction and the same with the next one (as yet untitled). We're also looking at a new more action-oriented PS3 Arcade title for release on the store (very early days of prototyping) so it'll be interesting to see what extras we can throw at that if it goes ahead in the end.
Probably shouldn't have said half of that, but this is an interesting discussion!
