How much do you want 5-in-1 Arcade Hits to cost?

Hey,

this is Jakub from Grip Games.
First of all, thank you all for your comments whenever there is an article about 5-in-1 Arcade Hits. They inspired us to make some final adjustments to our game, before it is released.

Knowing that, we want to listen to your voice once again. Tell us what do you believe is a fair price for 5-in-1 Arcade Hits. 1.99EUR? 2.99EUR? 3.99EUR? ... and equivalents in dollars, pounds and other currencies that you use in your local PS Stores.

Be fair, mind that there are five games in this pack, but also be honest.

If you have any question regarding Arcade Hits, don't be afraid and ask. We are like an opened book ;-)

$3.99. Or maybe $4.99.

I mean, the $1.99 ones are all awful. So I wouldn't use that price point because it would say "This product is awful". (Thank Sony for this, since they have most the $1.99 ones)

The $2.99 ones are sometimes decent, but most are quite simple. This gives you 5 simple games. So should be more than that.

Still, at $3.99, most people will think "Hey, it's only 3 bucks". But when you go to $4.99, people will round that up to 5. And five is when you start being a lot.

I would give it 3.99 EUR because the most good minis get that price.

Hi Jakub - this looks like a very solid, respectable & polished collection of games. The 5-in-1 package represents great value and so I think £3.99 (british pounds) would be a very fair price.

I'm very much looking forward to playing these games, especially Tetroid (which looks terrific!) :-)

I'd pick this up for 4.99 US dollars without a second thought, anything higher I'd start having to think about it a bit.

Anything lower than 4.99 and we're robbing you ;P

At $9.99 you start to run into competition from regular PSN/Legacy UMD titles. Especially next week, as Sony apparently starts their Essentials program (older PSP games for 9.99)

Based solely on the trailers, this is how I value the games: $2.99 for pool; $1.99 for Tetroid; and $0.99 for the set of card games (which I actually have no interest in).

So, I guess that means I would be willing to spend $6. Honestly, though, I very rarely spend more than $5 on a single piece of PSN content, and tend to buy stuff that's on sale.

In other words, $4.99 is the magic price.

BTW, I realized you were joking about the $9.99 price. Still, EA did it with Tetris, and it's the best selling Mini by far (then again, it's Tetris, IMHO, the greatest video game ever made)

I realize that it's probably both boring and trickier, but since you have a cards library working on the PSP, you guys should consider a card game Mini. My favorite game on the GBA was "Ultimate Card Games" and it has a pretty big cult following. There was supposed to be a DS version, but it still hasn't materialized.

I would actually pay $9.99 for a game that had stuff like Canasta, Go Fish, Gin Rummy, Spades, Hearts, etc

Great suggestion - a nicely polished collection of card games would be brilliant. That's the sort of game that makes a great travelling companion.

$3.99 or $4.99 here in the US. instant buy. Lower than $3.99 is a steal! Maybe if you wanna start with intro pricing the first month at $2.99, then up it, could work. Over $4.99 many would have to think harder before buying.

With good reviews, its an instant buy for me at £2.50, a probable buy at £2.99, at £3.49 I'll only buy it if its exceptional (and even then often wait in hope for a price drop) and won't bother at £3.99.

So or 5 in 1 Arcade hits, I'd love it at £2.50 but would pay up to £2.99
