Anyone bought it and play it? Any gameplay video? Still thinking about buy... Do you think, that is similar to Civilization or Colonization?

This is a test
Cool, I can post.
Anyway, I'm doing the review for it and have played a couple games so far.
It's really more like Empire than Civilization. You can develop cities, but it's fairly limited and you can't build any, you fight over existing ones.
I played it until my battery ran out, so I think it's a lot of fun, personally. But then I've been playing this sort of games for 30+ years.
It's got 9 scenarios, some of which you can pick more than one empire. So it's got a lot of replay value. At lest for a Mini.
Should have a review up by Sunday

Sorry for dredging up an old post, but does this game have a sandbox mode or is it just scenarios?

Just scenarios, but some of the scenarios are pretty open - big map, pick of the culture.
Since it's really an Empire based game, with fixed cities, I'm not sure you can really have a sandbox mode, since the only real difference is your starting location...

I like the 2 player mode better than 1 player, anyone else think so too?

Sadly I've never played Empire, but I have played Civ and was hoping this game would be more like that. See, DS has a Civ game so I don't get why there isn't one for the PSP. Ah well, thanks for the response.

I've just bought this game, but I'm a novice in these kind of games since they never appealed to me before. Are there any tips or tricks that could be good to know before I begin?

@Rein
You only want to build up in the beginning mabye taking a town or two ten turns in? And you want to build lots of gold mines and/or markets, I mean like one on every town.Posted 2 years ago # -

I disagree, my strategy is generally, to have cities dedicated to getting and storing gold, surrounded by cities dedicated to building troops; the more buildings you have that build troops, the more types of troops you can build in one city, the best troops can only be built if you have a number of different building types.that's just my strategy though,
really use whatever strategy you want to, thats the thing with games like this,Posted 2 years ago # -
@Carson
True you can use multiple strategies. I tend to be versatile with my cities splitting between attack and defense, so I have: gold mines/markets, baracks, blacksmiths and fortifacations in the same city.Posted 2 years ago # -
Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll try to keep some of the things in mind when I really dig into this game.
