In my day, we had phone books. If you knew someone's name, you'd look it up and find their phone number.
I guess in her case, the phone might not be in her name, but just call everyone with that last name and ask for her.

First loves hardly end well.
I've learned to not be dependent on another person to give me happiness.
My existence is my own with a purpose I'm still working on.
It only gets easier...
Then again, I just sever feelings to girls that ghost me or simply didn't care.
Life is too short for that crap.
Do or do not, there is no try.
Plenty of fish in the ocean.
Unless you decide to quit and completely isolate from everything else
Woohoo, my father is out of Intensive Care and into a normal room.
I'm relieved. I don't want to be an orphan just yet
Very good to hear. For the past few days, I've opened every new post from you with my breath held.
All I know is her first name
just call everyone with that last name and ask for her.
Non sequitur.

Okay, call everyone in town and ask for her.
Thugh back in my day, we had these things called "Yearbooks" which had the name and picture of everyone in school. Come to think of it, we also had a student directory with phone numbers.
And I appreciate the sentiment onmode-ky
I'm glad to hear the good news that things are looking up for your dad. :)
Original Xbox backwards compatibility is coming to the XB1. :)
Going to be limited I'm sure, but still nice to see just in case I ever make the jump. I'm sure at least a selection of my library will ultimately join the BC list, with the already announced Crimson Skies guaranteeing me at least one BC game.
Oooh, very nice. If it includes DOA:XTreme Volleyball I'm in.
And thanks for all the well wishes everyone. I hope things work out for Axel and he's eloped. But I'm guessing probably not. Things never did for me when I was his age, but you live and learn from your mistakes.
Do you guys believe that the more fertile the more attractive you are?
No. I know a few... difficult to find attractive people with a bunch of kids. A good friend of mine, who happens to be very attractive, has some sort of condition that makes it difficult for her get pregnant. I'm sure there is some study that may prove that it is, because what doesn't have a study of some sort to back it up? But it's not a definite.
Good to hear your father is doing better Jeremy.
Despite the fact that I got the digital version of Lost Odyssey (even though I still haven't managed to downloaded the damn thing), I still wasn't satisfied. It still annoyed me that I didn't have a working, complete physical copy. So I hit up eBay and came across a like new copy that had the little divider in the case. So the fourth disc was never in a paper sleeve. I did read before some of the copies where shipped that way. So I made sure to stay up late to win the bid. Now I wait for it to come and hope this one actually works.
I'm actually pretty interested in the Xbone X. Problem is I don't want to play a single Xbone game. I'm fascinated by the backwards compatibility and 4K Blu-ray player.
No. But people who are the most fertile seem to have the lowest standards.
Thanks O. He might need to go to a rehab place because he has trouble walking (as he didn't walk for a couple of weeks), but should be out of the hospital in a day or two.
I used to never understand your gaming OCD like that, but lately I've been scooping up $1-2 bundles on Bundle Stars. I know I will never play all of them. But they are just too good to resist.

Do you already own a PS4?
There's actually a lot across the two that I want to play. But when you remove the multiplatforms, the list is awfully short on both systems. Forza Horizon 2/3, Uncharted 4, Driveclub, and a few others are all there is.
And a lot of the exclusives that do intrigue me are hardly prerequisites from my perspective since they're last-gen ports. Take the 1st party Sony remasters of PS3 games or this just announced Shadow of the Colossus remake that to my eyes looks just like the PS3 remaster.
They'll be nice to experience since they're better versions of some great games, but they're still experiences that I've already had or could go out and buy today for a system that I already own.
Some games I'm cool with not having a physical copy of. Others not so much. Even though it's not really a good enough game to warrant the trouble I've gone through, it's still one of those games I want to have physically.
Speaking of games not worth the trouble: I got a copy of Bionic Commando (2009) for the 360 a few months ago. I've been kind of curious about it for a while, and since it was only $9 bucks for a new copy, I figured why not. I gave it a try a couple of days ago, and it is a rough game. Everything about it felt clunky. And the swinging mechanic is really weird. The locations are pseudo-open world. You either hit invisible walls, or the area has heavy radiation that kills you in a few seconds. I don't think I'll be finishing it.
And yeah, I have a PS4 Atariboy. So I have no reason to buy an Xbone X. Yeah, third party games will probably run best on it, but not so much so that I'll buy a new system to play them. Same can be said for BC. Yeah, 360 games usually run better on an Xbone, but not so much so I'd buy an X. And the only Xbox game I own is Panzer Dragoon Orta. Microsoft really screwed themselves over when they cancelled Scalebound. If they just let Platinum do what they do best, instead of try to get them to shove multiplayer into it, it would have been the thing that got people like me to buy a system. I don't care about shooters featuring burly men, I don't care about Forza. Not crapping on those types of games, they just aren't for me. Japan may not give a crap about the Xbox brand, but there are a lot of people outside of Japan that give a crap about Japanese games. If they just cared more about those people, they would be better off. Because they are kicking Sony's a** in almost every other aspect (as far as hardware).
I tried watching Sony's E3 conference, but got about two or three VR trailers in and stopped watching. The money they wasted on VR, could have went towards the Vita. I did see the gameplay for Marvel's Spider-Man a little while ago, and I was very impressed. It's number one on my list of anticipated games now.
Back in March (http://www.pspminis.com/forums/topic/for-people-that-need-to-be-off-topic/page/309#post-48587 ), I posted about how 3 of the then-7 games that HotGen had in the iTunes App Store had recently disappeared. Today, I discovered that 2 of the 4 remaining games have also disappeared, I think within the last week or so. Who Is? and Link It? were two guessing/deduction games (of names in the former case, words in the latter). In approximate order of disappearance, HotGen has lost Super Brain Surge! (one of the earliest iOS games (2008), seemingly delisted before any of HotGen's other iOS output even came out), Angry Broadz! (fake mouth app), Spacelings, Doodle Ducks, Santa Saves Christmas, Funny Money, Who Is?, and Link It?. Of 10 total apps, only To-Fu: The Trials of Chi and To-Fu 2 remain. A 20-percent survival rate. :( . . . Game Atelier still has 6 games in the Store, not sure if they ever lost any. Supposedly, though, Apple will begin dropping 32-bit apps out of the Store with the next iOS version update, so that may be the absolute end of a lot of older apps. Maybe even in the PSM "no re-downloads" style.
I don't think there were any original Xbox games that really interested me, aside from Sudeki, which also released on PC and turned out not to be worth the hype anyway (huh, it's $1.49 in GOG.com's current sale). I guess I have a vague interest in Panzer Dragoon Orta, too, and Steel Battalion--not that the latter could possibly be supported. I have the PS2-exclusive sequel to the Xbox-exclusive Crimson Sea, and it contains all its predecessor's cutscenes, so that's sort of covered.
No, I don't think there's any relationship between fertility and attractiveness. Surely that would mean women get pregnant just by walking past me. Surely.
Recently, two of the Exit Tunes collaboration Duel Maids (i.e., the chibi ones that came packaged with limited editions of that label's anime trance CDs in mostly 2010) appeared on eBay, used copies of just the figures (with their boxes). Bids opened at $0.99, but to my surprise, one ended at $11.50, while the other ended at $13.50. Six bidders fought over them both (again, since there are just trance mascot characters and not true Duel Maid characters, I'm not interested myself). I'm not interested, but I guess there are at least six other Duel Maid fans out there? Maybe one of those bidders was JeremyR.

I completely understand how as a PS4 owner, you don't have much interest here.
I was just curious if that indeed was the case, or if you just didn't see enough value in modern 3rd party games to bother even owning one of the two. That one would be tougher for me to understand since I see so many good multiplatform releases on the two systems (Unless you prefer to play on a PC, I suppose).
Wii U really was where it was at for the last several years for great exclusives. Xbox One and the Playstation 4 have been too dependent on remakes and remasters for their 1st party lineups.

At least Outrun 2006 was multiplatform, so I don't have to be ashamed of you for saying this (Even if the Xbox did get the best version).
Too bad that short of Sega actually developing Outrun 3 and reestablishing a Ferrari license, I don't see much of a chance for this one joining the backwards compatibility list thanks to expired licenses.
I hope axelboy didn't go nuts over his first lovey dovey.
Good thing for alive pops...
I'm bad with emotions.
When grandpa bit the dust I had zero emotion at funeral.
Sorry for being such a selfish bastard, I think I didn't apologize for that.
I figured that I had no reason not to be here other than to look slightly sadder than normal, so... Here I am. Let's pretend that nothing happened, shall we?
This post might be overly long, if you don't want to read about stuff you couldn't care less about, I split this post into "chapters"*. Read whatever you want.
It also might make me seem even more of a bipolar person, but that's because I wrote this over the course of several days.
Switch
We bought a Nintendo Switch on May 25th. Gave away our Wii, a Wiimote and Nunchuk as well as Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Pikmin and Mario & Sonic at the London Olympic Games for an €80 discount on the console and a €20 one on any game we might preorder at Gamestop.
I was against it, as I always am with giving away my stuff, but I had almost no say in the matter. I didn't have the strength to, and I wanted my parents to at least have someone happy at home. My sister wanted to play Breath of the Wild for so long.
I wrote my thoughts on the console in the Playing Right Now topic.
Drawing
I made a couple more of them shortly after I left.
First of all, here's (i64.tinypic.com SLASH 2z3rs5s.jpg) the one that was "so good". It's not, of course, but I am still a little bit proud of this. Kinda cute.
Wanting to learn more about the female figure, I traced over Hibari from Senran Kagura, who I felt was one of the easier characters to draw. Here (i65.tinypic.com SLASH 2efjmn5.jpg) I don't think it helped much, and the drawing itself is kinda garbage considering how I did it, so bad that I refused to include her legs in the picture.
And the legs are just as bad in this other one (i63.tinypic.com SLASH 24l35tf.jpg) At least, for the first time ever, I managed to make a fairly decent waistline. I think I shouldn't have used the same girl as the "so good" drawing for this, as I feel like she doesn't fit in that fancy dress, but it's too late to change it.
That friend
The one that over the course of a summer turned from a nerdy weeb into generic dude #147.
On the 6th he forced me to come and see his "special place" after school. A closed-off section of the park near our school. You can see the whole district from atop a little artifical waterfall, it's pretty neat. We had to stealth our way through it, as well as walk through a small 30cm-wide path with disgusting green water around it.
He wanted to describe in as much detail as possible what he did there. "This is where I smoked blunts with my friend". "This is where I drank a lot". "We used to sit there over the waterfall with our legs dangling". "That's the bench where I used to f**k". "I f**ked more here than in my bed. No, wait, more girls here. I only got two girls in my bed - no, three - no, two".
To say that I felt extremely uncomfortable and incapable of doing anything is an understatement.
Then he proceeded to spout words of wisdom for five minutes straight as if he won at life or some s**t. "See? If you don't do anything you don't really live". "I still am an obedient good person, but here I can do anything I want. I feel free".
"When I dumped that other girl I started acting like an emo, saying stuff like 'this is where my soul lives, now part of yours is here, too'. They all spread their legs immediately, haha."
Crush
That idea of mine didn't really work out.
I'm not done for, though: this Friday our school is going to display every single person's grades for all to see. I just need to take a pic of her classroom's sheet, and I'll have ~20 names and surnames ready to give me a way to contact her, either via Facebook or anything else. Or maybe I'll just search for her name and find it immediately.
Nothing on his Facebook lately, since his birthday back in March. He kinda looks like Carmine from Laverne & Shirley.
Ugh, I forgot I was forcefully tagged on that girl's 18th birthday's photos.
Silent Hill 2
Oh, and I'm happy about your dad, JeremyR.
The links here look soo good, do they.
Turns out...
All axelboy has to do is divide his overly long posts into neat sections and yours truly actually will read them all. Not like 100 percent fully scanned reading, but good general reading without skimming. I missed you ya big rant boy...
:@
I'm sorry, but your commentary was unesseccary Sniper. Your post are just a few sentences and I normally don't read them, because normally they just don't make any sense. But I didn't say anything because it's your prerogative. But for you to tell someone that has been very open about the issues they're dealing with, that you ignore what they say, skim it, only find it acceptable when the there is a chapter select of sorts, is just downright asshole-ish. Sometimes you need to know when you should keep your opinion to yourself. And if you did it with humorous intent (which I'm sure was your intention), it was poorly executed. Yes, I have joked about onmode-ky's post, and skimming or not reading them, but onmode-ky hasn't come to us feeling defeated, and trying to figure things out.
I don't want to come off as attacking you, if I offended you I apologize. But that was not cool.
Thanks for defending me, so to speak, but there was no need. Relax.
As I said, let's pretend that nothing happened, and let's have fun, instead.
...Though half of my post above is anything but happiness-inducing. Ignore that, too.
Would you rather see him post hundreds of GIFs every day?
:P
On a more serious note, putting aside "how" Sniper pointed it out, you can't deny that the post above looks much, much "cleaner" because of that chapter select, which in turn makes it also easier to read, in a way.
Heck, Sniper managed to read that.
Should have introduced it sooner, I already kind of did in my more recent Playing Right Now posts.
Sniper do you have ADD?
Axel you gotta be careful to not let those feelings for your crush consume you. You gotta ask yourself: do you really love her or is it just a chemical reaction in your brain that motivates you to procreate. Sometimes you gotta pause for a bit and take over control of your brain instead of the other way around. You shouldn't give up trying to find her though. When you do find her and get to know her, don't express your love right away. Try to become a more confident person first because girls like confidence. I think I know a few ways you would gain a lot of confidence but it requires some effort. Have you ever used a dating site btw?
I understand what you're saying Axel, but still. But if you say it's okay, then I'll take your word for it.
I do not believe onmode has the feeling of defeat programmed into him.
Which is why I can throw some jabs at him, plus I believe he can handle it rather well.
Who knows if I have ADD, never been tested and I'm already cuckoo.
I simply can't process large volumes of words without at least medium sized paragraphs to separate them.
Regarding the ass part....
I tend to be blunt so most times oblivious to potentially offending others until after the words have come out.
Still learning....
And I do hold more back than most people realize.
If I were to let everything out the rant topic would've had more posts or long posts filling up space.
do you really love her
or is it just a chemical reaction in your brain that motivates you to procreate.
Now, let's stop talking about that and let's talk about... Something else, I don't know.
Oh, here's a funny The Flash-related image, I guess.
I know that I'm an adult and I should look for a partner with a stable job
No, that's what women look for in a partner. Men rarely care about that.
For that matter, it mostly seems to be men that look for women that have common interests. Women invariably want an outgoing guy that does a lot of outgoing stuff all while being super confident and outgoing. Even if that woman is geeky as heck and introverted. Heck, being outgoing even trumps the financially stable part.
Anyway, I will say no more. Nice drawings, BTW you're getting a lot better..
Most people don't reveal everything about themselves for a while and people usually change over time.
Something to mull over.
Yup lots of shady shallow people in the world.
Those drawings aren't bad. About on par with character art in some mobile RPGs I've seen.
The hunt is finally over. I just tried the disc 4 of my recent purchase of Lost Odyssey, and it works.
Thanks a lot for the compliments about my drawings. I swear I'll do more than draw a single character standing still with a white void behind them someday.
So, I thought I'd post this image as answer to Sniper's "Metroid GBA games are good" in the Upcoming Games topic or maybe even in the Playing Right Now topic because I was playing this, but it's such a very big accomplishment. I need to post it here for all to see.
Guess who just did a 1‰ run of Metroid Fusion? Yes, me.
More details might be found on the Playing topic at one point. Might.
The first means "play time", the second "items". Basically, at least.
Three people have her name at school, but none in the class I assumed she was in.
No matter, because neither those three nor anyone in that class resemble her in any way.
