If you don't mind TV like commercial breaks, Hulu is a great way to catch up on some of your favorite shows. I use it on a regular basis to watch episodes of Naruto Shippuden.
Thanks for the suggestion. I rarely use iTunes, but I'll try that app out though. I may be willing to start buying movies if it works out for me.

since I can be off topic I'm neglecting(sp?) the usual formalities of reading the prior posts. Let us just assume I have nothing relevant to say about anything that has been said (I did dl moon diver demo, but am waiting until the wife and I have time to play it coop)
Does may incessant proper grammar annoy anyone? In RL I often take flack from coworkers for using the proper words to describe things, even if said words are not part of common speech. I find it difficult to dumb down my vocabulary, even more so online.
I am guilty of failed capitalization when posting from my psp. Anytime I fail to use caps you can assume that I posted from my psp.
Slightly on topic, I use Netflix as my sub for cable (I'm too cheap to pay for cable) and am loving it for old tv series and kids movies. Having to attempt to log into PSN is extremely frustrating mind you, both because the netflix setup states you do not need a PSN ID to use Netflix and the ongoing outage (hence this subject)

You shouldn't have to dumb down in any environment in my opinion. It's not your fault everybody else didn't pay as much attention as you did in school!
I do find it extremely annoying when people call out or correct other people. So what if someone mispelled a word, or used "since" instead of "sense", as long as you know what point the person was trying to convey you should just leave it alone.
I've been thinking about signing up for Netflix, but I spend enough time with my 360 on as it is especially on my days off. People keep telling me I should though.

I'm in an Indonesian class at work right now and my grammar has gone out the window. Lol. The good thing though is all Indonesians talk poorly.

Actually it would have been 4 to 1. I have a 12 year old girl now. My yorkie is male though and I think our parakeet may be male too. Not sure what I would have done with 3 female children and a wife that says "you did this to me!" Lol.

Er, I'm not sure speaking properly should ever make anyone upset. You make more sense that way, after all. :) Incessant improper grammar is what ought to be annoying. I used to have to deal with a friend who instant-messaged me without ever checking the screen after he typed something, and I was expected to decipher the garbage he put up.
That said, was there some example in particular you were thinking of, something you had typed here which you thought might not go down well? I can't think of anything.

While I can understand the sentiment, I think never ever correcting someone's poor language skills is a disservice to that person. If no one ever tells you that you're doing something wrong, you're never going to fix it, and if that thing you're doing wrong is making you sound like an idiot, that is no help at all to you in life. If it's okay in a video game site to point out to someone that they're thinking of the wrong game, I think it should be okay anywhere to point out that it's spelled "voila," not "walla." This goes double for adults, because you know what? They're not in school anymore, so there won't be an environment where there's someone whose job is to tell them they're wrong.
Mind you, I'm someone who speaks multiple languages without fluency in most of them, so I'm particularly conscious of sounding retarded to native speakers.
ChaosRandom, congrats on the two boys! Don't let the wife find out yet! :P By the way, at this point, do you know whether they're identical or fraternal?

the whole grammar thing really had nothing to do here. just needed to be off topic. I correct people's spelling/grammar when what they've said is actually wrong, not just improper. I don't care about typos, but if someone's actually spelt a different word I end up correcting them, and grammar IRL.

I got side tracked. I've been playing Crysis 2, Moon Diver and Final Fantasy XIII (Played for 9 hours yesterday). I'm about halfway through with 3rd Birthday, I need to finish it before I get too backed up.
I'm getting Little Big Planet and Killzone probably. Pursuit Force looks pretty cool.

LBP is massive, nearly 2 gb, and it's supposed to eat your battery life because it forces your systems cpu into overdrive.
pursuit force looked like a solid all around game, but not much replayability.
i'm trying to find if you can save user generated levels in LBP to play offline before i decide between the two.
i heard during the modnation hype that some of the content is shared between PS3/PSP. does anyone know if this is true? i got a cool mod&kart for signing up on the website but never got the game.
You can save user generated levels and shre them online in LBP, and you can download ones other people have made. You just can play with others online. With all the DLC LBP has, if that was the only game they had offered, it would have been a good deal in my opinion. Really looking forward to downloading it.
Content cant be shared cross platform in MNR. MNR is a good game for a week or so, but the lack of customization is a real shame, and no DLC at all for the PSP version, killed all potential the game had. Once you get over the initial freshness of having a new game, you probably won't play it any more. Of course this is just my opinion, so you may want to research a little before you use up one of your freebies on it.

In regards to killzone there was a * next to the game, and the terms said "Killzone Liberation will not offer online gameplay functionality." which made me think that it once did!!
Off topic: I wish I could gather all the flavours of Harribo together and have a Harribo feast.
I just saw the Japanese cover for Dead Head Fred and had to laugh. Its title is THE Honto ni Atama o Tsukau Action, where "Honto ni" is wedged in like a parenthetical. This translates to "The (Really) Use Your Head Action." :D
If you're confused about the "THE" and "Action" bits, that's just the style of titling used by D3's Simple series of games.
