   TB called it. If you look at the second to last paragragh here, it says it's just a "minor PSP system software update".

   I wonder why it deletes whatever game you have paused when you do these updates?

   It's probably due to the psp needing the short-term memory to install the update... but that's just my guess. ;)

   I love improved stability. What would we do without it? I mean who needs cool updates that actually do something? Not this guy! Am I right?!?!?!

   It blocks an exploit used for advanced homebrew/piracy. And another exploit has already been found to replace it. So it wasn't exactly effective...
