BlockedI believe this is a glitch, and has been noted by the developers. I heard about a month ago that they were going to patch it to fix this problem, but I honestly doubt that will happen. I know this really sucks, but it's a pretty good game regardless. Just grab your iPhone/Ipod Touch and play it while you wait for the wave to go by :)
