I hate weddings. I went to one with an open bar though. That was cool.
Are you still rocking the 3DS for now Freelance?

I was just making sure onmode-ky hadn't offended you with all of his hot woman talk.
I'm assuming the FF game you're referring to is Theatrhythm, Freelance?
I'm waiting for the price to drop a bit before I pick it up, I don't really have the funds to spend on it right now. Just gave my little cousin a hundo for his graduation gift, and Dream Drop Distance is coming at the end of the month.
But I have been hearing some good things about Theatrhythm.
Indeed it is. Ultimate difficulty is really hard but I probably can manage Expert with more practice. Basic is pretty easy.
Nooooooooooooooo you should dump the KH game and buy FF instead but I know you won't listen to me since I hate KH and love FF music. Yes, it actually got lots of positive reviews. I thought people would just pass it on since the artwork is 'too kiddy' for them. That's what people said about Wind Waker too and that game was awesome.
Had it been an actual FF RPG, it would have been a tough decision. But I'm just not that keen on rhythm games. The fact that it does feature FF music is the only reason I want it.
Sadly, I think I may have to buy that big a** Circle Pad Pro. After playing the Dream Drop Distance demo, I just can't see myself fully enjoying the game without it.
You were on a trip? Where did you go? I thought you had just gotten embroiled in a game and had yet to resurface.

Then again, Final Fantasy does have a history of super-deformed character styling, just not in its more recent larger games. People who would complain about "too kiddy" probably have no interest in Final Fantasy to begin with (or at least not in its history).
So Nintendo is finally doing demos, huh? It's about time they brought their online service out of the dark ages. Mighty Switch Force got an update, too, which was not something that could have happened on DSiWare.
She went to a wedding. Here in the States if I remember correctly. That and killing critters in Dragon's Dogma.
They've had demos for some months now. Resident Evil: Revelations was the first to have a demo. I still think the play limit is pointless, but oh well. I also wouldn't say they are out of the dark just yet. Their eShop interface is pretty crappy in my opinion. I guess crappy is stretching it a bit, but it is kinda ugly. They have trailers though, so they are better than PSN on that end.
I downloaded the Mighty Switch Force update, but since I haven't played past Stage 5, I haven't played the new levels. I've been having commitment issues with games for a while now.
Yes, a wedding in New York.
Sadly I have not killed any critters in DD lately. Don't really have the time now. The PS3 has also been moved to the bedroom making it harder now to play on it. We (my sister and I) got Tales of Graces F and it's easier to play that in the bedroom than outside, hence why I moved the PS3 there.
Why is Tales of Graces f easier to play in your bedroom? I assume you're referring to the multiplayer aspect--in which case it would seem like the larger living room, and presumably larger TV, would be better suited.
Normally the PS3 is in the living room, right under my PC (the monitor is a HD TV). We can't play outside because we'd have to turn the sound up and thus annoy anyone that walks by. In the bedroom there's more privacy. I always use headphones outside but it's of course impossible for both of us to play with headphones.
Hmm, have you considered getting a headphone jack splitter from, like, a Radio Shack, so that you could connect two headphone sets? Granted, I think that would make it so you had to turn up the volume, and it might introduce some noise into the signal, but it could be a suitable solution.
How do you like the elite status gifts, Freelance? They are pretty suck, IMO.
I'll get the cards. Maybe I can sell those for a decent amount at some point.
I think they're awful. I have no use for cards or posters although I like the LM2 one. I don't even have space to hang it up anyway. I thought of just getting Metroid II but then it'd be such a waste since it's already a cheap game and I spent lots just to get to Platinum status.
I went ahead and ordered the cards yesterday. At least they're small and easy to toss in the closet.
I've heard that they get worse every year. I doubt I'll even make it to gold this year though.
At this point I'm just hoping to save up 1200 coins so I can get that Game & Watch Ball. Which is proving to be difficult as I continue to play the waiting game on a price drop for Star Fox 64 3D, and maybe Ocarina of Time 3D. The latter is unlikely since I doubt I'd really get into it.
I wonder if Dream Drop Distance will get me any coins. The only other 3DS game that I know of not published by Nintendo that does is Revelations.
Theatrhythm FF didn't get any Club Nintendo sheet so I doubt DDD will get one. The only Nintendo game I'm getting this year is Luigi's Mansion 2 so I doubt I'll hit Gold too. I'll get some digital games from the EShop but I doubt they'd give much coins.
Soooo, no go on the splitter idea?
Don't like the idea of playing outside with someone. If it's just me then it's fine.
Jesus, for some reason I have the hardest time picking this thread out from the other ones!
Has Nintendo shipped you your cards yet? I was searching through eBay today trying to get an idea of how much I could get for the crap I'm trying to sell, and remembered I was going to sell my cards. I looked to see what they were going for but didn't see any up for sale. I guess they haven't started sending them out yet.
They don't send them out til sometime in November. It's the same every year.
Well that sucks. I should have my figures by then. Now I may have to end up selling something I don't really want to.
I had to buy another copy of The World Ends With You because I cannot find the one I had anywhere. I looked everywhere I stash stuff and nothing. I had to by a used copy. Damn thing caused me 58 bucks. I guess I'll get some of that back when I sell the cards.
Sweet, Dream Drop Distance came with a Club Nintendo voucher.
WTF why does that game get a voucher but not Theatrhythm FF? Lame!!!!
It's because Kingdom Hearts is boss!
I would have been surprised if it hadn't. Nintendo was promoting the game pretty hard.
3DS sightings outnumbered PSV sightings at Otakon by like 10 to 1. And I think most of them were running Theatrhythm.
That's most likely because people want to get more streetpasses/play coins on their 3DS.* The Vita doesn't have a similar feature so if someone has both a 3DS and a Vita, they'd most likely bring their 3DS with them, especially if it's at a huge game/anime event where you're sure to get 100+ SPs. I'm the same way. Whenever I leave the house, it's always the 3DS that I bring with me.
* unless you don't care about SPs or play coins (you can get 10 a day).
I just grab which ever I'm in the mood for. Last night it was my Vita. Last Week it was my 3DS. I have games I need to finish on both with new games for both releasing soon, so I'll be flip flopping a lot.
Do you know that there is a How to Train Your Dragon series airing on Cartoon Network, Freelance. I'm not sure when it premiers. I may have already, I can't remember.
Canada doesn't get CN so I dunno if that show's even going to air here. We never got Thundercats so I had to DL all the eps to watch. I'm probably going to have to do the same with Draggie.
Update: Oh, a special sneak preview (eps 1 and 2) aired yesterday and the actual premiere starts Sept 4th. I read that on Wiki. Anyway, I went to a Canadian TV guide website and searched for the show and I was not surprised to see a 'No search results' message pop up. Yet another reason why Canada sucks. *sigh* It's back to torrents again for me.
Oops the preview was only ep 1. Anyway I am DLing it now. The torrent is a whopping 1.3GB...for a 43 min show!!! There was another torrent with a much smaller size but there's nobody seeding.
Yeah, it ended up on my DVR. I'm guessing it aired during the Total Drama: Revenge of the Island time slot and recorded. My DVR is stupid like that. I may need to get Time Warner to send me another one. This one has become unreliable.
Canada's Cartoon Network equivalent is Teletoon, right?
What's the deal, Freelance, no interest in All-Stars? Team Freeliss needs to debut! Team Double O and Team Sniperliss (work in progress) are out there eating up the competition, Team Freeliss needs in on that action!
