   Sony's giving you the chance to honor some of the best games on PSN -- and, more importantly, get some free XMB themes for games like Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Costume Quest, and God of War: Ghost of Sparta. The company announced the first PSN Gamers Choice Awards, which will allow PS3 and PSP users to vote on their favorite downloadable game for each platform -- among the nominees pre-selected by Sony, anyway.

   From Feb. 22 through March 1, users will be able to vote for their favorite downloadable PSP or PS3 game, Mini, and PSN-exclusive by downloading a free XMB theme corresponding to that game. The winning game in each category will be discounted 30% for all PSN users and 50% for Plus members during this year's edition of the Spring Fever promotion. Find all the nominees after the break.

   Spelunker HD is not one of them, but there are already free XMB themes available on the PlayStation Store that will allow interested parties to pretend it is.

   Well i'll be voting for Young Thor to win simply because I own all the others and would like 30% off young thor. Otherwise i'd give it to A space shooter.

   Seems a bit stupid really with the discounts, as to vote for your favourite, you need to own it and therefore getting 30% off is entirely pointless.

   this is North American PSN only I presume?
   Persona 3 still isn't available on Euro PSN after all ... don't care about any discount, I just want Persona 3 on PSN!

   I'm interested in the themes though, hope it's not just another wallpaper.
   I got the dissidia theme off psn the other day and it's pretty nice (wallpaper and icons) so who knows

   I swear Persona 3 Portable was recently released on Euro PSN, but maybe I'm thinking of the first game's remake? Hmm.

   I agree with Identity the voting does seem rather odd : / Heres my votes

   Best PS3 Download Game: Pacman CE DX
   Because I want it on sale and I want the theme.

   Best PSP Download Game: Valkyria Chronicles 2
   Because it's the best in the 5!

   Best PS3/PSP Mini: Its a hard choice : /
   I'd vote M(P)SMP for the theme. I'd vote Vector TD for the theme and discount. I'd vote Age of Zombies for the discount. I'd vote Young Thor because its the best! So its a hard choice.

   Because its an indie title that I might get for the discount.

   EDIT: Because I don't know if you can download multiple themes just for the themes I'll use my friend's accounts to get them while voting :p So its Young Thor all the way!

   I vote Persona 3 Portable. I can't get enough of that game. PSP2 provided me with many fun hours playing online with others, but I don't play it anymore. I still haven't had the chance to play VC2 yet.

   For best mini, I gotta go with my little buddy Thor.
