I was just curious, do any of you own all of someones Minis? Either because you love the developer or the games just rock. I'm thinking the likes of Laughing Jackel, Open Emotion, or Frima to name a few. I think I'll own all of Paddy's games before any other developer. I think we're only looking at 3 right now from him. Ninjamurai, Revoltin Youth, and MBA.
Do you own all of a developers Minis?

Gameloft takes it with 2 Let's Golf and N.O.V.A.
I have 3 games from Sanuk Games (Twin Blades, Pix'n Love Rush, and Drums Challenge), but they're ports that aren't actually developed by them.
Speaking of Icon Games, I wonder why they didn't release Vertigo as a mini instead of a full PSN title? It's 85mb, and is now $4.99 (it was over priced at $9.99). It's freakishly hard.

The last time I counted I had over 70 Minis and so I suspect that there are a number of developers for whom I have their entire Minis collection.
I primarily buy Minis that attract my attention (which is most of them lol) but there are a quite few developers that I would buy whatever game they release because (a) they have given me a good experience with previous games, and (b) I want to support indie developers.
Plus, I pretty much always buy the games of developers who contribute to this forum. If the developers have taken the effort to reach out and actively engage the community, then the least I can do is support them by spending a couple of quid on their games.

These are the developers I appreciate most as well. It is great to see them going out of their way to engage with customers, incorporating some functionality suggestions, giving away codes for raffles and all that jazz. It makes me feel all warm inside. :PI had a quick look at the games list on pspminis.com and I see that I have all of Frima's minis but there are so many other developers which have only 1 or 2 minis out so technically I have all of a lot of their minis. :D

I buy almost all the minis, which can be expected to have highscore table. I have about 70 minis.

Jaysus, Cheers Chaos thats awesome :)
I own all of Laughing Jackals, Mediatonics and Frimas Minis personally (And of course, Open Emotion Studios :P). I think its awesome that because Minis have a dedicated following it is easy for developers like us to communicate with our fans and audience.
I really hope they don't do away with Minis with the PSV and instead expand on the idea and allow more functionality and slightly larger file sizes.

I've a lot of minis and like volcane I most likely have inadvertantly bought all the minis that some developers have reliesed... I think I have all Frima's minis... I know for a fact I have all Open Emotion's current minis (and I'll have all their future ones too). ;)
P.S. Both Frima and Open Emotion haven't put a foot wrong with their minis... and it looks like nither will in the future. :D
P.P.S. If, as a developer, you want to part me with my cash?... then be involved.

I totally agree with you Volcane. I've had my PSP for less than a year and it seems like all the good Minis are just now coming out. There are exceptions of course. I cant freakin believe some of you guys have 50-70 plus Minis! Thats so tits.

I do own all the Minis of one publisher who has more than one Mini, but it's a bit embarrassing because they were all gifts.
Ofaliss, it's probably because Vertigo was originally a UMD release (Spinout, in Europe).

Spinout is a great game BTW.

I own most of G5's Minis, but other than that, most are spread out among companies (I own 21, most of which I reviewed and liked well enough to buy).
Which is sort of ironic, as they seem to have stopped making them.
Also, their PR director (or something like that) is my friend on Facebook. She literally has dozens of really, really attractive friends that it constantly recommends. But they'll all Russian

I echo Paddy's sentiments regarding minis not disappearing into the ether when PSVita turns up.
We've already done five minis ourselves, with 3 more on the way (that's OMG-Z, Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death and... another one that's a couple of weeks into dev but which should be out in September).
I am really pleased to be part of minis and I think we've managed to steadily improve them as we've gone along. I think you guys will be pleased with all 3 of our forthcoming titles.
Plus there's news coming today about Cubixx HD, with an official trailer finally completed showing loads of game footage and general awesomeness, so keep tabs on the blog. You will be pretty astounded by the game I think - it looks AMAZING.
We've already been out on the road to the biggest UK mags, all but two of which will be reviewing it and I think they're going to be pretty positive with their scores - fingers crossed anyway! ;D

I own all of Frima's stuff. It's rare to get a North American-developed PSP game, and even rarer to get one from Canada. So I gotta support them. ;)

@Jeremy
Yea I know what you mean. It must suck to have tons of smoking hot Russian chicks trying to talk to you all the time. LOL. My luck I would get an ugly chick named Ulga.Posted 11 months ago # -
Why isn't the last sentence in JeremyR's post "I am therefore learning Russian as quickly as possible"?
Posted 11 months ago # -
I know right! I would be all over Rosetta Stone like fat kids on cake.

Rich suffers from inexplicably excessive generosity. Let's just hope no one tells him they don't own a home. . . .
Incidentally, Rich, as long as you're in here, shouldn't you advertise your newly announced two Minis?

I don't own a house...

@onmode-ky
Heh - I can give away codes easy enough, but unfortunately on the financial front I'm fairly broke :)
The new games - we're really trying to make something special with the new ones, but I think I'll wait a bit until I have some screens to show before saying too much.
ACTUALLY that gets me thinking - if anyone fancies doing a bit of Beta testing on them in a few weeks, drop me a mail. You can test on PC as we have a PC PSP-emulator we use for development (well technically it is just the PC version of our engine). rich [ at ] icongames.com

Something about their gameplay just keeps me going back for more.
