I dont like to rate mine that way cause there are so many Devs that I really enjoy. They all work hard (i think) and I appreciate all their games.
Paddy is the man though!
i'm merely poking some fun, good devs are good devs, although the ones i got are the most impacted ones, to me.
although if YoYo games worked a little harder i be playing Karoshi now. :(
I keep hearing about Karoshi. Dont know what it is though.
check out the gamelist and type it in.
Wanted to tell all the Devs who might not have had a nomination that we still love you guys. And if you ever wanna do nominations for favorite forum member choice awards, my nickname here is Random ;)
The seeds of Chaos are sown in your last post...
I do kinda feel sorry for Mediatonic for not recieving any votes, but I have to country first. ;-)
My favourite devs...
Laughing Jackal because...
Open Emotion because...
Icon Games because...
Frima because...
Beatshapers because...
GripGames because...
Other notable mentions: Sanuk, Mediatonic (too lazy to type any more...)
I think Daren from LJ has posted in here before. Not as much as Al, Ross, or the recently departed igotmyWMD, but I'm pretty sure he's popped in.
I like LJ's game mechanics and game design elements. I like Icon's slick user interfaces and their openness and discussion regarding the Minis market, as well as their strong and continuing support for the program (much like LJ and OES). I like Mediatonic's distinctive, over-the-top presentations. I like Frima's well-polished productions. I like Grip Games' record of not only putting internal games up as Minis but also porting other platforms' standout games to the program (and doing it well). I like Game Atelier for Flying Squirrel and its silly promo activities. ;P I like FuturLab for their community interactivity, at least when James has time. I like Sanuk Games' promo videos featuring Yan. :) Unfortunately, there hasn't yet been a Mini from Sanuk that's "for me," same as with OES, Beatshapers, and numerous other Minis developers/publishers. Sorry!
Grip Games still owes us that "making of" blog post, I believe.
onmode-ky: Yes, we still owe you that "making of" blog post, I remember :-) As our work on new minis games came to an end, it may be a good idea to do a post mortem. We'll see :-)
Anyway, thanks for the love that we and the other devs are getting here. It really helps to get us through the harsh time between releasing a game and announcing the next one ;-)
All you devs rock!
Keep up the good work guys... and I'll keep buying 'em. ;)
